I also just took the celebrity Apex for 12 nights in Scandinavia so have a recent comparison. Ship- the ship is old and it looks/feels it. It is 24 years old and needs a serious facelift. We had a sky suite and I have stayed in better rooms at a 3 star hotel. The bathroom had mold in every corner and crevice of the shower. The makeup mirror was coming by off the wall and the couch looked like it had been through a lot of wear and tear. The balcony is covered in rust which I get bc it is a ship in the ocean. The ship spent 17 days in dry dock not too long ago and apparently the carpets were replaced. I can't even imagine how bad that would have been. They apparently also painted during that dock time and you can tell bc there is literally paint drips and other misses all over the place. A elementary school student could have done a better paint job. Food- maybe I don't get the cruise thing but the food was not better than a chain restaurant in the states (longhorn, Olive garden, red lobster) and I don't mention this as a positive. They definitely focus on quantity and not quality and you can taste it. We spent a little of time eating off ship as much as possible. Staff- this was hit or miss. Coming from the celebrity apex where the staff was exceptional and you can see the difference from the top down this was a miss for me. The staff seem as tired and run down as the ship. I guess if I had to eat that food and live in those conditions for 9 months or so I would also not have the best attitude. The conclusion is I would avoid. There are better options.

We saw some of the low reviews and weren't expecting much. Totally surprised by our awesome experience. The food was delightful & staff excellent 5 star top notch service. Same for our rooms & attendants. Our old room had a leak by our door, we didn't ask for a new one but got one anyway with a superb balcony & future cruise credit with our old room attendant fabulous. The whole crew is very friendly right from the Captains wife & child we met by our old room, officers, performers on lifts, casino bar & poker table, even bathroom attendants, etc. Yes it's an older ship (Tampa shipping channel is not wide enough for newer ships & port has 2 small docks), but ship is being constantly cleaned with cleaners everywhere, has some rust on it but so does my 36' speed boat as I'm constantly replacing fasteners that are supposed to be stainless but still rust with sea water. Things are dated but this ship was to be refurb, then covid & I understand the economic reasons for the delay. My best experience was on the last day dinner dessert time as I'm very picky, my own fault, etc. The wait staff & maitre d were able to track down some port wine upon my request & this was epic. Very impressed by it. I have been on many cruises from Canaveral, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Tampa, etc. (I did miss the comedy shows on Celebrity available on others) but 1st time on Celebrity & had the absolute best time on this cruise.

I finally pretended I was looking for yacht storage and I got a call back within 24 hrs--- when I explained that I was merely trying to schedule my deal, he said he just got back from being out of the country for 6 weeks and that's why I couldn't reach him prior. He said he would still honor the deal even though it expired while he was away and I should just send an email with possible dates. Well, it's been another month and I haven't heard back. Living Social hasn't been much help so far, but I'm holding out hope for a refund. Bottom line: DO NOT PURCHASE ANY "DEALS" FOR EXECYACHT! I'm out $300!!

I found a living social deal for DEA charters and thought it was a good idea. Before I purchased the voucher I called DEA and spoke with Mr. David. He was very friendly and cordial on the phone and convinced me to make the purchase! On the day before my ride I received a reminder text regarding my ride for the following day. When we arrived Mr David greeted us along with his assistant! We were given an introduction and safety run down before we began our sunset ride. We were asked what drinks we would like- wine, beer, and snacks were included in our boat ride. The ride was so beautiful and we given a great tour of the Miami water area. We saw beautiful homes and Mr. David gave us a run down of the area ! The service was amazing and Mr David was so pleasant, friendly, and funny the whole ride --answering all our questions. His Assistant was sooooo friendly as well! She was so nice to my daughter and family and was accommodating to all our needs. Our boat ride was private which made the experience 20 times better!
