I've passed this studio on numerous occasions and a colleague goes here so since getting bodypass I decided to give their vinyasa class a try after work. To get to the studio you go in from Victoria St and go up the stairs. The staff seem pretty easy going and there are a few couches with water and tea plus small retail area and some books and cards. I can't comment on the bathrooms as they were separate but I did use the female change room and again it is just closed off by a curtain and has heaps of yoga mats piled in there. The good thing about this place is that there is plenty of space! The yoga room has high ceilings and is bright with natural lighting. You can even borrow mats, blankets, bands, eye covers, bolsters and foam blocks without extra charges. On this occasion the vinyasa was instructed by a cover so I can't really comment on what their regular classes are like. I enjoyed the space here and they seem to offer yin and vinyasa at all levels so I'll be sure to try another class and add to the review but so far I love the space! read more

Number one worst yoga studio ive been to in my life the chinese instructer was rude and would not let me do basic moves using blocks to support myself and tried having a fight in the middle of the class this is not a place to relax and meditate cause the instructor has some serious issues she needs to work on dont go! read more

I have been practicing yoga at this studio for over 6 months now and it truly is one of my favourite places. The space itself is very calming and The owners so very welcoming. They offer a wide range of classes from beginners to slow flow, yin and vinyasa. The teachers are so friendly and make attending even more enjoyable. I always walk out feeling refreshed and energetic, anticipating the next class. Since opening I've seen the classes fill up and I almost hate writing such a glowing review in fear that this place will become too popular. This is a lovely yoga studio, with owners who really care about what they do. I love that they know my name and I always feel very welcomed. The teachers are all wonderful and you will find the ones that click with you the most and your yoga practice. The space is wonderful, airy, light and a lovely place to be in. This is not particularly close to home or work for me, I could easily pick a studio that is more convenient. But I make the effort to come here because it feels like home they provide mats and they don't make you Pay to rent them - something that always comes across as a bit tight at other yoga studios who do this. There are male and female changing rooms and herbal tea before and after class. read more

Across the world from my home studio, Yogamaya in NYC, I found a yogic home. Hamford, Wendy, and Angela each gave a flowing, unique class. The space is beautiful and welcoming and I look forward to returning when next in Melbourne. read more
