My family and I stumbled across this gift shop in search of local items that are uniquely from Hershey, Pennsylvania. There isn't much shops that carry Non-Chocolate items in the vicinity. However, it was a nice change of pace from the Norm when we found homemade salsa, quilts, framed arts and various items that looked very authentic but they did carry a decent amount of Hershey products including; Coffee Muggs, Shot Glasses, Magnets & Keychains that pays homage to Hershey. After all, this is the Chocolate Capitol of the U.S.A At the time of our visit, there was only 1 person managing the store but she was very friendly and knowledgeable with the local area and did a great job in helping us out. I stumbled upon it recently while picking up lunch at Copper Crust last weekend and I am so glad I did. The staff was super friendly and I enjoyed looking at the merchandise. Most items in the store are new goods but they do have some items there on consignment like high end handbags and piggy banks from old post office boxes. I left with a yummy smelling Belham & Co soap, two whimsical and unique birthday cards and a yellow Chavez for Charity beaded bracelet. I was tempted by a Vera Bradley scarf as well but I am trying to quit my scarf habit. Aside from the items I purchased, I enjoyed looking at candles, baby gifts and such. We placed a five piece order with a 90 minute turn around and picked it up next day. I can safely say there is no quality assurance at things remembered they must have forgot. We purchased a utility knife that was completely warped. When we returned it we were greeted with incompetence and stubbornness. Other orders took priority and somehow when it's five orders it takes 90 minutes but with one order they could not give us an estimate or an apology. After the day of our wedding we are sad to say that the father of the bride did not receive his gift due to things remembered. When we return tomorrow we will politely thank them for wasting our time and gladly inform them of our contribution to their one and only yelp review.
