Shut the curtains there. Nice room if you get a window room.

I booked this hotel because it was reasonably priced and centrally located. I booked a standard room with no window which was about £45 a night. I was given my keycard and I entered the room. It was located on the ground floor. I went in and the room did not look like a hotel room. The bathroom area dominated the space. It seemed a bit industrial and horrible. I went back to reception and asked to pay for an upgrade. I decided to pay for a window room which was on the second floor. This made such a difference. The room actually looked like a proper hotel room. The large Samsung TV was placed on the wall at the foot of the bed. There was a free bottle of water. All the sky channels including movies and sports. The bathroom is frosted and not silent proof! The best thing was coming down between 5-8pm for a glass of wine and help yourself to cheese! The OH was offered a bottle of beer, and he could pick any from what was available (innes and gunn, Heineken etc). I received a 175ml glass of wine. There was a good selection of cheese but I was mostly interested in the Brie and the blue cheese. There was crackers, oatcakes, and sour dough bread. Chutneys, grapes and strawberries to finish. Overall it has been a good stay, but I would say that it is better to upgrade the room.

Having just checked into this hotel, the format is perfect for the price. Excellent and friendly staff. Very nice rooms, very modern (4 days old), a lovely shower and bathroom. Finally, the bed is huge, there is a power socket exactly where you want one and to top it off, Sky TV in my room. I forgot to mention I got this room for £50. Definitely, definitely recommended. Citizen M have got a serious competitor for my custom. EDIT: I booked into a different room, this hotel is about as far from finished as possible. Above the ground floor everything starts to come out.

CitizenM prides itself on offering consistent service and features, so it's no surprise to me that…read moremy experience at the Glasgow location was much the same as other cities. The room itself was exactly the same. Overall, the layout and king bed are always enjoyable, but the hard floor makes for a difficult experience if you're trying to do some in-room stretching/yoga/exercising. A couple things unique to my visit in Glasgow: -During check-in, it asked me what type of room I'd like (meaning, the level/view). I chose a lower room, as it said it was a city view. This was more like a view of the building across the street on the west side of the building. But the lower room was good because... -One of the elevators wasn't working when I checked in, so being able to take stairs up to my room was something I took advantage of. -The actual spot in Glasgow I found very convenient for my purposes. I was able to walk to the university area in about 25 min, as well as over to my favorite spot (Mono/Monorail) in the same amount of time. It was also very close to the Glasgow Queen St station. So all in all, a good experience and I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for a night with my sister for my birthday and I would highly recommend. The shower area is frosted glass so your silhouette is on full show so be aware of this. The staff here are so lovely and welcoming and helpful and we had such a wonderful stay and would 100% stay again.

They told us where to place the our luggage, and its do-it-yourself, thus that room was a mess. Luggage all over the place, not utilizing the space efficiently. The hotel only had one working elevator and each can only fit 3 to 4 adults at a time. It was a challenge trying to use the elevator to go up and down, hopefully the other elevator has been fixed by now. The room was ok, we had two issues. Hotel WIFI - slower than a turtle... felt like we were using dialup service. Not sure if this was done on purpose or what, but they need to upgrade their wifi system. Room Layout - we had on full size bed and one sofa bed. When you expend the sofa bed out, it blocks the other folks using the other bed from accessing the restroom. They should flip this, so the sofa bed is by the window and the full size bed on the other side. Free breakfast & friendly staff.

Front desk was very friendly staff and very accommodating, had to use room key for lift (elevator) - staff jumped in to show me. Room not large but great for wife and self, very clean, nice little TV, not hear for glob tube anyway. Went out about 2100 (9ish PM) for a snack (no idea where to go), front desk man told me Pizza place next door, sure enough there was a little Italian restaurant, order pizza to go and grabbed a half pint cold Italian ale, all for less then £20, great experience, breakfast in the morning (included with room). More to follow on this adventure! See ya. Loving it thus far Having a great time, staff couldn't be better Highly recommend definitely would stay again!
