We hired the booth for an industry party at a club in Bushwick recently, and it was a HIT. Communication with Ben was A+ from the get go, he was perfectly on time, set up everything quickly, and was SO lovely with our guests. The photo booth was crazy popular and made our event twice as fun. The printed photos came out great and everyone loved posting them on social media. Ben even added our company logos to the pictures, we didn't have to do anything. I can absolutely recommend Rent My Booth & Ben if you're looking for a photo booth in the NYC area!

He was originally supposed to do our 2020 wedding but it was postponed for 19 months. Ben kept in touch through the 2+ years of planning. Ben arrived early and setup with no hassle. He was very accommodating to my request for classy props only! As soon as people saw the booth, they went straight for it or 3.5 hours worth of photos. The booth is super easy to use, but splurge and lay extra to have Ben at your event. He really hypes up the booth! It will be full all night! You don't need to look anywhere else for your PhotoBooth needs. Your friends will look amazing in that ring light and will love you forever.

It's a very cute concept and perfect for hanging with friends or even a photography date. I liked the souvenirs they provide as far as the decorative photo memorabilia. Some of the machines do take quite a bit to develop the pictures but if you're willing to wait, they usually are worth it. A few things to note, cost per strip (usually only one copy provided) is about $8 per machine. Also you should be prepared once you pay (they do accept Apple Pay or digital wallet) for the photos to start snapping right away, since these machines are older they don't have a countdown on screen like the modern day booths to let you know when it will start. Additionally, there's usually only one seat provided in the booths so seating space inside may be limited to at most 2 people at a time. Overall I'm very glad I got to visit and take home some vintage photo strips.

One of my girlfriends was getting married a few weeks before me, and really wanted to check out a wedding expo in the city. She invited me to go with her for the bonding experience and support (initially my internal response was a slow motion resounding Noooooooooooooooooo!) but I love my friend, and with all of my vendors already booked I said 'yeah sure!' Figuring I could help her through the chaos. After the third hair removal vendor offering their service I started to feel a bit self conscious (do I look like the bearded lady!?) we turned the corner and BEHOLD! Here we stumbled upon Magnolia Photo Booth (aka the absolute hit and highlight of my wedding). I initially didn't want a photo booth. My venue wasn't huge, and most of my photo booth experiences revolved around Bar Mitzvahs and trips to the mall in 1998. But after meeting with them, and seeing what they offered (at a really great price). I walked away with a complete change of heart. Their booth was a really good size and fit perfectly with our venue. Accessories were great, staff was very friendly and accommodating and the communication I had with them was wonderful. I had a great time creating the design for the picture printout, and pumped to get the coffee table book with everyone's photos in it. The best part for me was receiving an email from them the day after the wedding. They sent me every photo taken that night. As the bride and groom, we're obviously not able to be two places at once. As we scrolled through the album and saw pictures of Everyone, from my 4 year old flower girl to my 86 year old grandmother goofing around, we were in hysterical laughter, loving knowing our whole family had a great time.

I was going to complain that the booths should have a video screen to show how we're going to look, but I think the lack of one actually allows us to have more candid shots. The photos are also pretty damn good quality too. I love the widescreen looks of the photos too. I thought that our photos are private, but haha, you can get to see them online and look at other people's photos as well. I like the "old time" logo of your booths too. Kudos to you guys for creating and providing these cool booths at yelp events.

Our guests had nothing but great things to say about the music Austin played at cocktail hour, which was a mix of Nick Drake, Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, and requests we had taken from answers in our RSVPs. When it was time to start dancing, he kicked things off with some Whitney Houston and was extremely welcoming and inviting. In lieu of a wedding band, we organized a DIY jam session involving a good chunk of our guests, who were also musicians. Austin kept the night moving by being ready with transition music between sets and personnel changeovers. He was extremely knowledgeable about gear and communicative with us about our timeline. We hired DJ Dre for our wedding in January and loved working with her! She is upbeat, kind, and fun. Our family and guests had nothing but good things to say about her. Our wedding was a culturally mixed affair, with a wide variety of music tastes and preferences. Dre did a great job incorporating all of them into the mix, bringing everyone out to the dance floor. She was receptive and took time prior to the wedding date to get to know us, our vision, and showed up prepared and invested for our meetings and the day of the wedding. She took our creative ideas and ran with them, putting together an incredibly fun script to introduce a game we made up for our guests to play at our reception. Her enthusiasm took it to the next level and had all our guests engaged and creating lasting memories. Thank you DJ Dre and Beat Train for being a beautiful part of our big day!
