We are so blessed to have such a fantastic local theater. I have seen small two actor shows, premiers, musicals, comedies, and classics. Everything is perfectly cast and performed in one of several theaters configurations perfectly suited for each. Don't miss seeing a performance at a Theater Squared! Located just a block from the Walton Arts Center, T2 has two theaters with smaller stages, intimate seating, no bad views. You won't see Broadway series type shows here, but will see amazing productions and strong actors. The T2 team always puts together an impressive lineup of content - so you might as well get the whole season series! What a hidden gem! I recently received a free ticket to see a show here and was so impressed with the production! The venue is very quaint and clean. The lobby boasts local art and pottery for sale. You can purchase a small snack, beer, or wine for the show in the lobby. They will be moving across the street soon, as they are expanding and growing. I will definitely be back for another show. Tickets are affordable, parking is nearby, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. read more

I'd never been to Theatre Squared prior to the recent renovation, so I don't have that experience to compare with. The new T2 is fabulous! I saw Shakespeare in Love and enjoyed the show so much, I bought season tickets. T2 has a two theatres (maybe that is how it got its name Theatre Squared :)) that are very small making for an intimate experience where you are close enough you can see the expressions on the actors faces. I highly recommend you see a show here or get season tickets yourself and support the arts in NWA. This is truly a gem of Fayetteville. read more

Last night we went and saw another production at Theatre2 and we LOVED it! As usual, it was wonderfully produced and the concept was terrific. I loved their casting-could not have been more appropriate! The characters were just PERFECT, they really did a magical job through their roles of making you feel like you were watching a production from 1938. The first scene instantly made me think of Jackie Gleason and those great times from early television.. a bit overly loud and brash was just a riot! I really didn't want this show to end! We saw "Detroit" in April and it was equally as well-done, I've come to expect nothing but the BEST from Theatre2. They are consumate professionals, know their business, and always succeed in creating a thoroughly enjoyable experience worth every penny of the ticket price. Stopped by The Commons today for a quick sandwich, hot tea and desert. Haven't been there before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I had glanced over the menu on line so I thought I knew what I was gonna order. The menu is limited in number of dishes offered but not limited in flavor. I went to order the Vegan chick'n sandwich made with chickpeas. I ended up with the veggie sub made with roasted sweet potatoes and roasted red peppers among other things. It was amazing!!! My friend had a prosciutto and brie sub that he said was excellent. Deserts are from Briar Rose and The Dirty Apron. If you're from the Fayetteville area you probably know those two as excellent sources of both breads and sweets. The Commons is in the lobby area of the new Theatre Squared building on West and Spring. Seating is abundant and creative. The area is quite and would be a great place to work on a computer or just to relax. There is even a bar if you want more than coffee, tea or soft drinks. Brand new theatre! Full season of fun, new shows for 2019-2020. We saw Shakespeare in Love and the whole show, from sets and costumes, to actors were fabulous. The space is small and intimate, but there isn't a bad seat in the whole house. I really enjoyed the actors using the whole theatre and engaging the audience. There is a bar and cafe in the lobby, and subscribers get a nice discount. Drinks are allowed in the theatre which is a fun change from some of the other places around. Tickets are very affordable! read more

Love the plays and work that Theatre Squared has produced! One of the most recent ones I saw included a live bluegrass band that was integrated into the scenes. The sets look great and the actors do an amazing job. Some of their shows are so popular that they have to add more performance dates. It's in a black box theater with a smaller sitting area that houses about 200 people in the audience. Shows typically have an intermission with refreshments for purchase in the hall. read more

This is a fantastic little venue that has grown to be a Premier provider of the Theatre. It's AMAZING how wonderful the quality of thespians and Award winning plays that we are offered on a very regular basis! The latest production we attended was "Detroit" and the ensemble, the Directors, Producers etc. were A+.. What continually impresses me is the incredible set design. It really is an awesome way to add to the ENTIRE production. The moderately priced tickets are an absolute investment for the quality of Performance Art. read more

Just saw Amadeus. Everything was absolutely perfect! Not much for plays at all, but if they have one that interests me, I will go from now on. Seats comfortable, temperature perfect, right size venue, coffee and HUGE COOKIES, great actors, and I'm picky. Just read my reviews. Our family has been a faithful T2 follower for the last three seasons. Each season gets better and better and is a perfect mix of comedy and drama. We have seen many shows more than once per run. If you are under 30 you can see the show for 10.00. So much talent and creativity!!!!!!! read more
