Warning. They did not inform my wife that the midwives may not deliver your baby…read more My wife chose this specifically for a midwife. They informed her to meet all the midwives because it was not guaranteed that the one you chose would deliver your baby. My wife met with all three or four midwives during the course of her pregnancy. Come labor and delivery. The hospital called a doctor from Women's Specialty Care and informed us that ALL the midwives were off that night and that a doctor whom my wife never met would be delivering. The doctor was late to show up. My wife was ready to deliver the baby and her body was telling her to push. The nurses were telling her to wait for the doctor, which is both ridiculous and unhealthy. The doctor shows up. My wife says hi (a woman in likely the most pain of her life) the doctor doesn't acknowledge, but carries a groaning frown on her face. She delivers the baby, asks if we have questions, and takes off. Later come to find out hospital policy usually is to wait for a doctor so they can get paid for the delivery. I understand the benefit of having a doctor present, but when it is doing more harm than good by forcing a mother in labor to wait to deliver a baby so the doctor can add one more to her list of babies delivered, then it is ridiculous. This was only one small story of the shit show that happened during my wife's labor. I am grateful my daughter was born healthy, but it was by the strength of my wife not the aid of the grumpy doctor.

It went out three week later. I should been sent to a specialist not six months later but then. That doctor getting too old. He should retire. Just like he of told me what foods to stay from like too much, coffee and coke until test for my surgery. Now they are looking at my meds that I need or I'd be in severe pain. They need to let the people choose not the doctors. Doctor where I moved from were hell of alot better at letting patients have what they want since it there body. If a patient wants a retest they should allow it not a doctors and nurses choosw. They are not paying the bill. Or going through the problem. When the patient went into the Doctor the Doctor should of told the patient the do's and don't of food. She was told at surgical when blood was tested and flunked. Now can't have surgery until problem is solved which it could of been when seen Doctor a month prior what should of been told a month before. Only wait a year and half for this surgery a year and a half. This is bullshit. Never would of happened where I moved from. They would of told me everything to stay away from on my diet wise plus they would rush you through if you are in great pain from needing surgery. Plus too much bullshit in this hospital. I can see why people go to another hospital cause they hate this one. People in Walmart have told me they moved from this hospital

I was a patient of Kaldas for many years. in the beginning I thought he was good…read more I noticed through the years he's had at least three or four other doctors join him, but none of them lasted very long. He also hired several nurse practitioners who did not stay long. Gradually, the quality of service with regard to messages getting garbled, delayed and errors in getting prescription renewal's and always having to wait all day for a callback,I beganto dread even calling his office. I believe these errors became embarrassing to Kaldas. After about 17 years, I would ask if it was really necessary for me to continue seeming him. He would insist that it was. Then suddenly this last fall my appointment with him was cancelled, and I had to see Mary, his assistant. She told me in a very cold manner that they could no longer help me. After 21 years, I felt thrown out. I never heard from him or his office again.

They were both so knowledgable, personable, and sensitive to my questions, concerns, and anxieties. Dr. Menya is the most genuine and calm/collected person I've ever worked with. He was always fantastic with my baby girl Vera as well. The nurses and office staff at Kaldas center are phenomenal. I was always greeted by name and with a smile, and they assisted with my two year old on occasion when she had a tough time at appointments. Dr. Menya attended the birth of my son Thursday, acknowledging and following all of my birthing wishes completely. I am going to miss this group of practitioners, and I would recommend either of these doctors to anyone. Thank you so much for helping make my VBAC a success!
