First, I want to start by thanking Chad for helping with completing our project not only 4 weeks sooner than projected but also before Thanksgiving. We are hosting this year and will be showing off the great product he and his team installed. As far as the product that was made and installed, it looks GREAT! We were going for a knotty rustic alder look to try to match our kitchen and stairway. The match is perfect! I could tell he has pride in the work he does because he laser etched Thelen Cabinets logo in the exterior side of the drawer that is visible when the drawer is opened (see pictures). The slides for the drawers and soft close hardware on both the drawers and cabinets are so incredibly smooth. The cabinet shelves are adjustable and fit perfectly in the cabinet. The doors close perfectly with no gaps or loose parts. We are so incredibly lucky to have found Chad at Thelen Cabinets. He has gone above and beyond all of expectations to make sure that we are happy. I will be recommending Thelen Cabinets to everyone I come in contact with. From start to finish we NEVER had to ask for an update or wonder where they were in the process because he was on top of sending out the update email. We had Thelen Cabinets build our kitchen and bathroom cabinets for a couple of remodeling projects, the kitchen was done 12 plus years ago and over the years we had a couple of hinges go bad on a larger door, talked to Chad the owner and he came up with a fix at no cost to us on a 12 year old cabinet. If I could have given them 0 stars I would have. Their work was not the greatest. I had a couple issues that I wanted them to look at. When I brought it in (he would not come to the home he installed them in), it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I have never been treated with such unprofessionalism. Their was a complete lack of customer service. I was very mild mannered and asked a lot of questions so I could understand my options. The owner was often yelling at me and being very aggressive to the point that he was blaming me for the entire issue. Even by his explanation, it was clear that at least a portion of the issue was their fault, but becasue he had an issue with the builder of my home, he took it out on me. You may be able to find cabinet makers who do an equal job of making cabinets, but I guarantee you that you will not be treating as rude as you would here. read more

Chad Thelen knows & understands the meaning of Customer Service! To say their customer service is superior would be a gross understatement! I simply needed a cabinet drawer repaired & certainly not a complicated fix either. After calling countless cabinet companies, absolutely NO ONE would help me! They all told me that unless they built our cabinets, they would not fix the drawer. I heard about Thelen Cabinet Co. from a friend, called him, brought my drawer to him, he said; "no problem" and the very next day he called to tell me my drawer was ready for pick up! Although I did not purchase cabinets from Chad, he was more than willing to take care of me.
