On a whim, I decided to get a Thai Massage tonight. It was the last appointment, and they took me in with no problem. I had driven by this place for years and had it on my to-do list to give it a shot but never got around to it. Yesterday was my birthday (yeah Virgo ;-), and I had such a horrible day that I needed a little pampering. Well, Ms. Jazmin was my Therapist tonight, and I asked for the combo. I was initially nervous because I didn't know what to expect but that soon dissipated. I can attest, this was the BEST massage that I have ever gotten in my life! If I could rate 10*** I would. Jazmin is a Master at massage therapy and technique. She rubbed a million stress knots out of my body from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. I was lying there thinking this young lady literally has "healing hands," The prices are reasonable, the store is clean, and the water is on deck. I understand why this place has stellar reviews. It's a hidden gem. Sometimes, all one needs is a good massage, healing hands, and a comfortable atmosphere to change their day from bad to good. This is now my new massage spot! Cheers! read more

They used to have really great massage therapists. The last two times I've gone it's been horrible. I went this afternoon and a blonde massage therapist I've never had before never put the pillows under my knees when I was on my back or under my ankles when I was on my stomach. I don't know if it was that or what she did but I've never been in so much back pain AFTER a massage before. I can barely stand up right. Also their signage and flyer says 2 free hot stones for any massage over an hour. I had a 90 min massage and no hot stones. Lastly, I asked to use the bathroom which is at the back of the establishment. When I went past what I thought was the last massage room, the door was open and it had cameras looking in all the massage rooms. I was totally freaked out and disturbed. Massages fall under that weird category in my brain where I really enjoy them (when they're good) but trying out a new place gives me such anxiety. If you've got any worries, this place is legit! Have met the owner here several times, have been to this facility several times, i came today for a massage on the way home from work and there were beds and a tv in one of the last rooms, door open- 2 beds that i could see - 1 woman in the bed sitting like it was her bedroom and the other bed was undone like it was slept in. i walked out of the bathroom to go back to my room for a massage (the bathroom was also dirty) and asked the masseuse if people were sleeping in there or lived there she said "no" but i saw another person at the front desk that was not previously there - neither one of them cared about the unprofessionalism or the poor experience i had today. the masseuse said nothing to me and the person at the desk look like she just woke up from a nap and didn't say a word giving me a blank rude look as i was leaving. DO NOT come here: there are far more nicer, cleaner more professional facilities in this area. as a woman this made me beyond uncomfortable today. i will never be back and will tell everyone i know not to come here and recommend 2 other spas i frequent. read more

It was a good one! I moved here about 6 months ago and had not been consistent with my self care routine. I decided to get a thai massage to begin my journey again. Let me tell you, I felt every single minute of it. The parking is a bit tight. It is a busy shopping center. I went in and was greeted at the front desk. Filled out some paperwork. I love how they say if any sexual offers, etc. are made then the service ends and money will not be refunded. Means they are legit. Not all massage parlors in this area have the same standards and can make for an uncomfortable experience. The receptionist took me to my room and the therapist came in about 5 mins later to get started. She worked out months of stress when she walked on my back. I am soooo sore today but so needed. I feel a great deal better. She also did some lymphatic work and opened up my sinuses. I am draining big time today but much needed. Make sure to drink plenty of water before and after you go. My favorite massage. I've had people come to my house with their tables (men and women), I've been to traditional/professional brick and mortar places and the massages here are the best. The Thai combo massage (deep tissue and traditional Thai massage) for 60 minutes is my go-to. I usually take whoever is available at the time and I've never been disappointed. Yes, some are stronger and/or maybe put in more effort, but none of them have been "bad". The place is clean and tidy as a masseuse should be. Prices are very affordable for the quality of work performed and you can usually get a massage scheduled on the day of. Probably one of the best, if not the best massage I've ever had. It was painful at times but I requested deep tissue to help break up some muscle knots. She found every single one and applied enough pressure to finally release them. I did allow her to walk on me for parts of the massage and it was so effective in really digging into those especially tight and painful spots. I felt like a new person when I left. The boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary last night as The Woodhouse was fully booked after work. I like that this establishment is open a little bit later than other places. Gives me time to decompress after work and get a quick bite before getting a massage. I had Pim again,and at first I felt bad for her. As an office admin,my neck and shoulders are always tight, but with the hot stones and hot towels,she was able to help me out. By the end of my massage,I could move my head and neck again comfortably! Yay! My boyfriend had a combination thai massage and swedish. He loved it! But because he pointed out that his sciatica was acting up,that was the area in which his therapist focused. He said he wished he had more hand and forearm.focus,as well as scalp and upper back. I mean he HAD thoes areas worked on,but not as much as he wanted. By the end of it,we were ao relaxed when we got home,we couldnt fight off The Sandman. We passed out not an hour later and we woke up this morning refreshed. Both of us have improved mobility,but we are a little sore. But to be honest,we needed the deep pressure! I ended the massage early by a half hour. The lady charged me $100 for a one hour massage. They're not from Thailand and they do not know Thai Massage. They are the most expensive place in the city. I went here for the first time today and must I say it's the best thing I ever had. I am so glad I stumbled across this place while surfing the net. The place is clean. The room was comfortable with the amazing smell of lemongrass. The massage table was really nice as the mattress was firm which I love! The therapist, Mimi, went above and beyond level ten thousand to help me with my endless knots. It was very painful because my knots but well worth it at the end. I really need this every week. Laziest and most mediocre massage I've ever had. Despite the hesitation because of some bad reviews, I had high hopes because of the really good ones, so I still gave it a shot but I left really disappointed with the whole experience. My husband and I came in for a Swedish couples massage and the techniques were nothing like it. First of all, I booked the massage with Phim because she had a lot of good reviews but we still got different therapists in the end. Both therapists were just doing what they felt like doing at the time. We requested several times for them to focus on our shoulders and neck but refused to do anything other than rub more oil on our bodies and then wipe it off with a warm towel. My husband and I have been getting massages for years now and this by far my worst one. I lost count on how many times I thought of just stopping the massage and just leaving but I didn't want to be rude. We definitely walked out frustrated rather than relaxed. I came to this place to try out since it has many positive reviews. I had a Thai combo massage for 90 minutes. Right from the start, I felt so much pain when my masseuse was working on my lower body. I had to repeatedly tell her to lighten up the pressure. I had numerous massages: Thai massages here in US and in Thai, Chinese reflexology, Japanese acupressure, deep tissue massages so my pain threshold was pretty high. I felt like the masseuse was walking on my veins so it was painful. She has the know how but not the why certain movement has to be made. Also, I filled pain the paper work where to concentrate, but it was not followed. I walked out the same way I walked in, not much different. No "happy endings" here. Building is clean. Music is relaxing. No odd musty smells. Ambience is very important to me. Masseuse: Evanandro or "Evan" for short. This man trained in Brazil. He's been here in Texas a couple of years, and I hope he stays forever! He has nice broad hands. Adjusts to pressure requests, speaks English, pleasant personality, will talk or be quiet. Massage: I went with the combo Thai 90-minute massage. If you check in via Yelp, you can save $10. Place is moderately priced-- $110 for 90 minutes. And really, what would you pay for the best massage ever? Masseuse starts with traditional walking massage while face down. Then he moves on to the traditional massage. He works the back and neck, then arms and legs. I haven't been here before so I asked him to do my feet and head. Best head massage ever! Then we end with a face up massage and stretching. My masseuse was Jasmine and she worked out a knot in my back that I had become convinced would be with me forever. I came away so relaxed, all my stress simply massaged out of my body.
