There's a great balance of CBT/DBT theory, skills practice, creative expression, group therapy, and individual therapy (and no, you don't need to know what any of those mean, you'll learn as you go :) ). The psycho-education talks on the gastrointestinal tract, memory, sleep, and psychiatric medication are especially fascinating! What was most disappointing was that there was no assistance with identifying other resources, no direction to another organization that might be able to help, and no meaningful information about what I could do next. I called because I needed help, and I left the conversation with no resources, no referral, and no solution.
