All of the items for sale are made by hand by women in the US and globally who are in distress. These are women who are in extreme poverty, victims of abuse or in some other way in danger. The money they make goes back to support those organizations and help those women. They could do a lot more to cater to…read morethose people - to make it a stopping point for a healthy snack or drink - But they don't have apple samples on weekdays; they won't let you buy single apples; the staff are snippy and don't know what's going on, and it REEKS of the artificial, phthalate-ridden candles and air fresheners they sell here. Also, the apples are way in the back past all the smelly stuff and touristy garbage - like they're just an afterthought. That's sad.

I think there was only one employee working when we visited and she greeted us when we entered and seemed very friendly, but not overbearing or ever hovering while we were browsing. It took us a while to make it through the store and I'm sure we didn't see everything. The selection was massive and I'm only docking the review a point because mostly everything seemed a little pricey. I'm not sure if the ornaments are imported or anything. I'm sure that could factor into the sell price.
