Visited these baths in Brigerbad during low season in mid-May. It was like having the place to ourselves. But this is a huge facility that caters to the ski trip crowd in the winter months. They have an infinity lap pool with at least 6-8 lanes, wet saunas, hot baths, warm baths that are indoor/outdoor with lots of cool features, and gym and massage/beauty treatments. The prices are Swiss (expensive), but worth the value. Bring your own towels, flip-flops, toiletries as this is not a day spa that provides it. They do provide lockers and hair dryers. It seemed more like a mix of a gym (with a focus on water features) and day spa, but with a restaurant as well. Anyway, totally awesome experience and a hidden gem in Brigerbad.

Everything we did at the spa was wrong. We got there too early, we wore shoes after the changing room (a huge no-no). After a swim in the admittedly beautiful roof-top jacuzzi we changed into clothing to eat lunch (sitting in wet cold clothes in the bistro did not sound appealing).... and all hell broke loose. We were 'ABSOLUTELY' not allowed to wear clothes to lunch. When we explained we didn't want to sit in wet clothes we were met with blank stares. After lunch we promptly were told off for bringing a plastic cup of water outside of the Irish Bath area and for trying to eat a muffin near where we bought it... muffins must be eaten in a specific muffin eating area apparently. All told we were scolded a total 5 times in just a few hours. If you're looking to be told off repeatedly and to pay a handsome $350 USD for the experience, this is the place for you! If not we recommend taking a swim in your hotel bathtub.

DISASTER! If you are looking for a relaxing spa day with your girlfriends this is NOT IT!!!! Over a…read moremonth in advance I booked 4, 1 hour massages. As soon as we got in the car to head to the spa we received a call that one of the staff was sick. It was unfortunate, but we decided to split one massage in two, so that all four of us could still get services. Upon arrival we are told that somehow, our four HOURS of services could now only be THREE 25 MINUTES MASSAGES! This left one of our group with NOTHING. I could understand needing to switch all of the services to 25 minutes possibly, but this was beyond unacceptable. There were two massage therapists working. We were spending 900 euro. Even if the one therapist was not there, how do you explain the 2 hours we reserved with the other therapist not being available to us??? It was supposed to be a relaxing start to our family holiday, and it was chaos. No staff gives you a tour or any guidance, and it's a confusing layout. They clearly prioritize a high influx of the day access to the amenities over services. They had extremely overbooked the day passes, it was mobbed. It was hard to change, walk through the hallways, hang up your robe, enjoy anything at all. One of us who could not get her massage should at the very least had her day access complimentary, but no! I have been to many QC terme's in other areas globally, and I have never been disappointed. This one is in desperate need of proper staff, and serious customer service training. Do not waste your time or money!

The hotel is a luxury five star hotel property. The owners of the Hotel D'Ouchy also own the Lausanne Palace, which is why all Hotel D'Ouchy gets get free access to the Lausanne Palace spa facilities. The facilities are numerous and you easily spend the day there, without ever even getting a service. Their is a sun room, outside terrace, fitness area, indoor pool, hot tub, sleeping room, hammam, dry sauna, juice bar and cafe, and treatment rooms. You are provided with a robe and slippers if needed upon entering. The changing rooms are small and there is very limited locker space. They have Aveda shampoo and shower gel so you don't need to bring that with you. They also have cheap flimsy combs in case you forget, but I recommend you bring your own as they are VERY difficult to use. They also have complimentary tooth brush w/ mini toothpaste to utilize. Also, there is only one bathroom in the changing area and two showers. The fitness area is stocked with the newest high end equipment. My only complaint is that it is VERY hot in the room and there are no fans. The pool is also VERY warm, it didn't seem like there was any difference in temperature between the pool and hot tub. I couldn't do very many laps without over heating. The dry sauna was INCREDIBLY hot. The atmosphere is relaxing, the decor is modern with Turkish touches, and everything is very clean. Their is free Aveda hot tea available to drink, and water bottles available in the fitness room. My favorite spot had to be the sleeping room, dark room with beds laid out with big cushy duvets. It was a fantastic place to catch a nap. My only complaint is that the temperature could be turned down a couple of notches. To note, their are separate hammam and dry sauna for men and women.

We stayed at this hotel 2 comfortable weeks…read more The rooms seem recently renovated, are clean and have a fantastic view on the Alps (Weisshorn remains my favorite mountain silhouette to wake up with). The beds are on the soft side, but this posed no (back) issues. We had a slight issue with the thick covers. These were too hot for me. The restaurant serves quality diner and sometimes daring combinations (the 'lotte' with octopus inkt was not a success). In combination with the hotel (half pension) diner costs 50chf per adult, this was fair, kids pay 35, and this we found too expensive. The breakfast is simply put, great. Fresh coffee, eggs in all sorts, fresh orange juice (DIY), organic soda, fruit, cereals, various breads and typical local cheeses and meat. Awesome. The staffing was always helpful and friendly. They offered flexible taxi service to bring us to one of ski lift stations of Crans Montana. The Spa is typical for an hotel in this region; hot sauna (very hot indeed @92 degrees Celsius), 2 steam baths, all sorts of cooling methods (the fresh ice offering is brilliant), a nice indoor pool and outside jacuzzi. The garden is large enough to lay comfortable on the many available sun beds. Too bad the heat and smell of the spa are too noticeable in the lounge and restaurant. There is also a good well equipped gym (Cybex) and apparently various wellness treatments (we do not do such things, so no comment on that) Highly recommended place.
