There were several game wardens onsite and a couple of deputies. What I was surprised about most was the cordiality between of the grownups . Strangers helping each other untangling crossed fishing lines. Grownups weren't allowed to fish but they could help their youngsters do so. I saw a lot of catfish being caught. No shocker there as the lake had been the day before stocked. To their credit the officials in charge were very helpful and mingled with the people fishing. Also to their credit the first 100 participants got a nice rod and reel combo I estimate to be a fifty dollar value each. Not begrudging any but that's where a lot of hard earned tax dollars got spent.

This tiny aquarium will impart more knowledge in a short visit than you probably take in most months if you take advantage of it. The interns and owner (a former teacher) are committed to answering questions. The things they are studying and sharing are amazing. If you go in and you want to learn and ask questions this will be an experience you won't forget. The birthday party proceeded perfectly well. All Big E staff did their jobs with care and perfection! They were all attentive to the needs of the host and seemed to really want to make this a memorable event for the birthday boy and his friends. There's eight movie screens, a full sized bowling alley, climbing and jumping activities to help keep the kids energy levels manageable. In better weather outside there's also a rather large and impressive miniature golf area. I can't believe that I've missed out on this fun place to take children to.

Not being the best time manager, I sometimes have to recalculate my arrival time and this is a great place to stop. There are signs posted around town about a meeting to discuss what I perceive to be improvement s to the park. This would be a great spot to place different amusements for kids such as swings, slides, monkey bars, etc. This is only one of two parks that I know of that are federally compliant. Federal law requires public parks to be able to facilitate complete access to all of these places pinpointing the physically disadvantaged! Just a few amenities for children ( along with some updated rules ) would be nice. A new playground available to all children would bring a lot of much needed business to the Main Street area. It's a win, win, for the city!

When we visited there was a film in the special exhibit room, and another film in the larger room. Both were informative. The battlefield trail also has a few benches throughout and a few signs to read. Part of the trail is paved, part is gravel. Total trail length was about a mile, mostly a flag and easy walk. Nice bleachers for fans and absolutely no trash anywhere! The city does a remarkable job! These fields are used for baseball and softball games and tournaments.
