I started my chiro journey with Dr. Thiele because of his unmatched expertise with the Gonstead approach to chiropractic care. I hoped to alleviate my intense lower back pain that brought misery upon me anytime I cleaned, or really did anything that required me to bend over for a few minutes. I've heard many life-changing stories attributed to Gonstead chiro and being only 21 years old and OCD about taking a holistic approach to health, paired with being moderately active, things weren't adding up. I decided to plunge deeper into ~health~ and stop feeling like a grandma by addressing the root of my problems via my spine and nervous system. To my delight, the x-ray proved the cause for my ungodlyy back pain, and I even discovered other parts of my spine and neck that were shockingly misaligned (*compulsive shudder*), likely due to injuries in my early childhood years that remained unaddressed. This discovery was truly perplexing to me as prior to this, I thought chiro care was unnecessary for children, since they are so healthy right?! Wrong. I learned regular adjustments during pregnancy and even for babies will ensure a smooth and delightful experience for both mother and child, preventing injuries later on in childhood and teenage years. Kind of a bummer that I didn't know this, because I'm confident my spinal inconveniences could've been dodged. I'm currently a month into my treatment and have discovered that much to my unexpected surprise, my frequent headaches have reduced, along with the *chef's kiss* of this experience thus far-- my terrible menstrual cramps have decided to begin parting ways with me. I've been treating with Dr. Thiele since 2006. I am 48 years old with Degenerative Disk Disease and a fractured L5. Because of my bodybuilding and also my profession my surgeon recommended I not get surgery because of the loss of motion and impact it would have on my life. She recommended to keep training, moving, core exercises and chiropractic adjustments. Most surgeons would not talk you out of surgery. Mine did and it's the best thing I didn't do. Prior to meeting Dr. Thiele I experienced daily pain and often certain movements would put me on my knees in pain and loss of breath. It was horrible. Dr. Theile is effective. I have been to four chiropractors and all I got was temporary relief, none of them produced long lasting results. So happy I found Dr. Theil, he was first chiropractor that ever gave me excercises and nutrition advice to help me maintain and help myself.
