What a great photographer! Ms. Newcomb shot some portraits for my niece, who was two at the time. She supplied the whole package: Studio space, lighting, and a furry puppy for the photos. On top of all that, she even did the photoshop retouching (on my image -- the niece and the puppy are perfectly adorable as is). I would definitely recommend for weddings, reunions, births, birthdays, baby photos, intimate anniversary presents, not as intimate divorce proceedings, office parties, girl's night out, bachelor parties, school portraits, head shots, mug shots, new haircut, plastic surgery before/afters, websites, passport photos, vacation photos, photo journalism, landscapes, miniatures, music videos, school projects, cheating on art school applications, old-timey photos, futuristic photos, crime scenes, animal costumes, private inspecting, selfies, endoscopies, bris, Bar Mitzvahs, Bat Mitzvahs, B'nai Mitzvahs and whatever other Mitzvahs you can celebrate! read more

I requested a design I found online and the owner/henna artist put her own take on it which ultimately was even better than the online image! The owner/henna artist was super down to earth and crazy talented! She promptly answered all of my questions leading up to the appointment and continued to do so during the experience. Her pricing is very fair considering her talent and knowledge. The service was top notch! The store is adorable, and I love that the tea, candles and other items available are from local business owners as well. After the henna application, she carefully taped over it usually a special tape which protected it while the color developed that initial day. My only critique is that a portion of my henna design is significantly darker than the rest, however, I did use some self tanner the next day which I was told could lighten the stain. I just would have thought it would have lightened all of it. I'll definitely abstain from using self tanner the next time and see how it goes! I can't wait to return!
