I ordered a chicken bacon ranch wrap and it was disgusting, the chicken was very rubbery I could force myself to eat it. My spouse ordered a burger that was not very good either. This place was very small with not much for lighting. Then when it came to our bill, they didn't give us the incorrect change back so went up to the bar and she tried pulling a fast one on me by saying sorry let me fix that, went to the till and came back and gave me exactly what she did the first time, I had to help her out with that. read more

The Thirsty Moose is an awesome local bar if you ever need a wonderful place to chill in a town where Bob Dylan lived and grew up a bit this The service was awesome the two women bartenders were fabulous. Best wings on the iron range!!! Big size, crispy & an incredible amount of flavor choices. Burgers are great, but pizza is undercooked.

I came in from out of town today and was very hungry. I drove past. It's a gamble trying a new spot that's not in a town, but it paid off. The bartender was very happy to help and the food was really tasty. The steak burger with mushrooms and onions was really tasty and the beer fries with gravy were great. Really good wings and pizza. I have not had the other food, but others that I have been with tell me it's good. It does get busy after 5:00 and the service struggles to keep up. Service is friendly, but try to get there early. read more

There Garlic parmesan chickenwings with raspberry dipping sauce are the best chicken wings I ever had. Large portions for a great price. There sampler plater was also good. The only negative was the service took 20 minutes for waitress to find us and take are order. Once she took order very helpful on what to order and what sauces to get. This is a must place to go to on the way to Hibbing. read more

Spent a weekend in Hibbing and the front desk of our hotel suggested this place for good bar food and they were right!! This cozy ma and pop shop had great service, good food, and a local atmosphere. Would definitely go there again. Wish there was a wider range of craft beer but it's just a personal preference. read more

I have family up in the Cherry area and every time I come up to town I can't leave without getting a burger from here. The last time I came I tried the wings for the first time. I was a little wary because I've never found a bone-in wing that has made them worth eating for me, until now! The Parmesan garlic wings were fantastic and delicious on their own but the raspberry sauce that came with was a whole 'nother layer of flavor that I was just not ready for. You would think it was just going to be sweet to counteract the garlic aspect of the wings but no, along with the sweet was some spice that cut straight through everything and I just couldn't get enough of it. If I'm confessing everything I stopped in the middle of my burger to try the wings and once I finally came back to the burger I drizzled the raspberry sauce on there too! I'll never miss an opportunity to come up to the Thirsty Moose and you shouldn't either! read more

While the Thirsty Moose looks like any other beer joint inside and out, it is a jewel. Or maybe I should say that it has hidden jewels. The wings are the best I've ever had! I've lived in New York, birth place of hot wings, and I actively search out good wings but none have been better than those at the Thirsty Moose. Yea, the hamburgers are good (order garlic wing sauce on the side) and ceiling money trick is cute but you won't believe the wings that aren't even on the menu. I believe wing night is Thursday but should you show up on other days, just ask and you'll likely get a chance at the best wings you ever had. read more
