Jim's planning and scheduling were perfect. All I had to do was get on the bus which was loaded with snacks, ice and drinks (water, sodas, sangria, Margaritas, and wine) and relax until we reached our destination. Wherever Jim took us, whether it was restaurants, boat docks (Winter Park), hotels, or theme parks, the staff was waiting for us when we arrived. Our bags were taken to our rooms, and what great rooms they have been! Our most recent trip was to Callaway Gardens. Our beautiful rooms had balconies overlooking the hills of Pine Mountain where the leaves were changing colors. Can't wait for the next trip.

This day was an incredible experience and we are already talking about going on another tour with Yollie sometime soon. The tour vehicle was comfortable and the sound system helped us to hear the entire tour. Yollie took us through multiple neighborhoods and we stopped at many sites along the way. We appreciated Yollie's storytelling and the immense wealth of information she has about the city. During the tour we did have some questions about the city since we are newer to the area and Yollie was so incredible giving additional information to us. This was a day we will never forget and I'm so appreciative to Yollie for her time and the information. I highly recommend Explore Jax Core.

I have completed a few Jax Ale Trail Passports and started the Coffee one. If you have any questions the Visit Jax app is extremely helpful. Tonight was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. The food was incredible (as expected!), but what really set this experience apart was how completely effortless it was for us. We didn't have to plan a single thing. No reservations to juggle, no coordinating stops, no stressing over details. We just showed up and enjoyed each other. Every couple received thoughtful gifts, and one of the sweetest touches was getting to write our partners a card, which they had waiting for us at just the right moment. It added such a meaningful, personal element to the evening. There were also so many fun games woven throughout the tour, plus great prizes that made everything feel interactive and exciting without ever being cheesy. It struck the perfect balance of romantic, fun, relaxed, and memorable. You could truly focus on your partner while JaxTours handled the magic behind the scenes. If you're looking for something low effort on your part that will absolutely knock both your and your partner's socks off, snag the last spots for tomorrow if you can! It's totally worth it! I went on the ships and sips tour on Saturday. They needed a minimum amount of people for the tour…read moreto go, and they immediately informed me when they had enough people so I could book as well. It was about 65 dollars for the tour, which included a drink at every stop. I arrived early at the at first stop, and we waited in the bus while others arrived. Even though it was a bit cold and raining, we all agreed to do the first drink on the ship. We climbed into the USS orleck, and was given a quick tour of the ship. We then did trivia for the drinks, which was shots of vodka and bourbon. It was really good. The next stop was at a beer brewery, and we had a ticket for one drink. I tried one of their beers, and it was quite smooth and refreshing. We stopped at another beer restaurant, and did a game where we had to text the guide a quote the quickest possible. The final stop was at a rooftop, which we had to go through handheld metal detector, and upstairs. It was worth it as the drink was strong and excellent. I had so much to drink, that I did excuse myself a bit early so I could Uber back to my hotel safely. The guides (Dan and Bill I believe) were excellent. While there was some story telling about the ship in the first stop, I wish there were more about the brewery and restaurants as well. However, the games were pretty fun to play and one lucky guest was crowned the Duke of the tour and got some prizes. Tina, our driver, drove us safely to each stop. The bus was comfortable. It was definitely a fun tour, but best to pace yourself with the drinks, especially if you are driving back home. Taking an Uber/Lyft is a smarter idea. I am glad I tried this tour out as it was fun and there were ample amount of drinks. It was worth the 65 dollars. I will definitely try their food tour next time I visit Jacksonville. Overall: A

I took 3 of my grandchildren here mid-day on a late summer afternoon. We thought it would be a fun…read morefor the kids to see the animals in their natural habitats. While the staff can't control the weather, it seemed as though they could've done more so that the animals would be more comfortable in the heat! The day ended up being miserably uncomfortable for us, as well as the animals. Some were impatiently pacing in their cages. Some were just lying around in the dirt. Two were recovering from surgeries. All of the animals looked well cared for and some were enjoying some snacks while we were there. Our "walking tour" included a walk around the facility to each animal's habitat and the guide discussing multiple facts about the animals lives and journey to the Reserve. Start to finish, it took about an hour and included a bottled water. I'd recommend strollers for your kids. It's an unsafe place to allow young children to wander around. The "public" restroom is a port-o-let outside the gated entrance to the reserve. It was just as clean as the ones at a football game/concert! There is no gift shop but they do ask for donations and give you a t-shirt in return. In movie terms, the reserve is the equivalent of a low-budget film. It's saving grace is the effort to keep these animals alive, but as they all grow, I feel like this "low-budget film will not be able to keep up with the demand! Too few employees for so many demanding large animals.
