Our experience started with the first initial estimate, provided by the owner Mr. George Denison. He gave us a prompt and extremely fair quote for all labor and materials which are warrantied. A neighbor had replaced a roof, two years prior, which was the same as ours with a company who had charged 3k more. Everything was documented and any questions we had were promptly answered. The workers on site were hard working, polite and beyond professional. The site was cleaned up each day and the finished product was outstanding and completed in two and a half days. They came to finish the job on a Sat morning. After the first day of work, we actually received a call from Barbara. She works in the front office and she called to just check in with us to ensure that we were satisfied. They told me they have been in business for over 50 years and I definitely can see why. Do not use this company. My experience was marked by poor workmanship and poor management…read more In Jan 2025, they removed my old roof and replaced sections of the plywood underlayment. However, they failed to properly secure some of the new plywood, which caused part of the roof to lift. Although they eventually repaired that issue, it made me question the quality of the entire installation. I hired other roofing companies to inspect the roof, and they identified numerous additional problems that will cost nearly $4,000 to correct. I contacted this company and gave them the opportunity to fix these issues under their warranty, but they have ignored my requests. So much for their 20-year warranty. I also discovered that although they obtained the required permit from my town, they never submitted the required completion photos needed for the town to verify the work met code and to close out the permit. I reminded them multiple times, but they still failed to do so. My advice is simple: find a competent roofing contractor. If you've already hired this company, I strongly recommend having your roof inspected by an independent roofer to identify any issues before they become more serious.

I signed a contract to have my siding replaced on 4/14, paid the initial deposit on 4/16, and a…read moreproject manager came out on 4/30 to do a walk through of the project and ask clarifying questions. I had to reach out to my sales person, Josh, to get that scheduled since I didn't hear from anyone in the days following deposit payment. I was told that materials would be ordered, taking about four weeks so the project would begin in early June. In mid-June -- after the project should have started -- Josh reached out to schedule a walk-thru with another PM, Norm, on 6/22 who asked all the same questions. Not reading from notes to confirm, just "pretend like we're starting from the beginning and tell me what we're doing here". They assured me this was a final run through and the project should start in early July latest. But they clearly hadn't ordered the materials in early May since I was still being asked about colors and other basics. In mid-July Norm reached out to let me know materials were delayed initially but now discontinued and I confirmed that assuming materials arrived in the next two weeks I wanted to proceed as planned. He assured me that was a realistic timeline. I finally received an email letting me know my project was estimated to start on August 6th. Norm reached out to confirm the materials had arrived in their staging area and would be dropped at my house August 3. And they did. August 6th arrived and no word no workers. I reached out to Norm who let me know there was a bit of delay and the project would start on August 10th. On August 10th Norm arrived to do an inventory of the materials he had access to for about two weeks. Unfortunately the supplier hadn't sent all the appropriate materials so he would submit a rush order and they should arrive by end of week. He could have inventoried them when they arrived at the Henderson staging area, he could have inventoried them the week prior when they arrived at my house. But he waited until project start day. Unsurprisingly the materials did not arrive by end of week so I was told there would be a two day pause and work would resume Wednesday 8/19. Which it did, but I went from six workers racing through the project to two workers who seemed to be working around the edges of the project. And here we are on Monday 8/24 and the workers simply didn't show up. No word from Norm on more pause time or a reason for the delay. Just work stop. I was informed at the very beginning that the project could be delayed if there was unexpected wear and tear under the original siding. The one spot that was flagged took 1/2 day to repair -- I work from home so can follow along easily! On week one the workers showed up on all days rain was forecast and worked until rain started, if it did start. These are not the reasons for the delay. It's pure mis-management. Called the local HQ in the hopes I could get honest answers about why my project has been delayed and ignored and haven't heard back. Long story short, don't use Henderson for siding if you value honest, consistent communication and accountability from leadership about their employees mis-steps.
