Negative points. : I took my son here for their promotion rate for the first month. When I registered him they said that he could have a make up class as long as there is availability. What they didn't make it clear was that this was only the case if I had an active membership there meaning (continual membership month to month). Even though he didn't need a make up class, I wish they had make it clear in the beginning mentioning that only with continued membership , make up class would be possible whenever. I know it's just the wording. How I understood "active membership" vs their version. They shouldn't assume that people signing up will automatically continue after the first month. Secondly, wish they had cleaner facility. Specifically, Women's bathroom sink actually loooked dirty. I'm not expecting it to be so clean where I can see my face but it could have used some care. Also their floor could have been cleaner. I don't know how often they mop their place but it was dusty (and we were there for their first class which is 10 am) and noticed it two weeks straight.

It's evident he has a passion for teaching and working with children. The skills our son is learning are lifelong. While it's pricey we see lessons as an investment in his confidence and swimming abilities.

She takes the time to lay a solid foundation of the development of land, major differences between Townships vrs Cities, different types of liens, assessments that may not show up on title, boundary lines, ways to own property, property disputes, old Michigan laws that may affect the land you thought you owned......yes a lot of information that you won't need to "pass a test" but will make you a darn good Realtor! I, to this day, draw on information that she insisted we needed to learn. Don't just pick a Real Estate School that will teach you how to pass a test but one that will give you a solid platform to start a business on. I can't say enough about Lori Chmura and Middleton Real Estate School.

I LOVE MIDDLETON but first I have to be honest about something…read more.. I was not quite sure what to think about this place the day I picked up my textbooks and discovered a workbook to write notes in. It seems so old school because I was so used to working on my laptop. However, the reason for this became clear after starting my first day in class. I signed up for the week-long class and it was a daunting challenge in the beginning because I have never had a real estate license before and wasn't sure what to expect. Soon it became clear that Lori is an AMAZING instructor who have taught the material for years. This is why she knew that physically writing something down helps commit the material to memory. Looking back, I don't know if I could have retained the material as well if I had typed up my notes vs. writing them down. So trust me...WRITE THEM DOWN IN THE WORKBOOK and dedicate 1-2 hours to read through your notes before bed every night. Did you also know that your tuition is good for SIX MONTHS?? That means you have access to refresher courses between finishing the course and taking the state exam. I actually took advantage of a review session one evening and found it to be extremely helpful in summarizing all the materials. I took the state exam 3 weeks after finishing the course and passed. It was the biggest relief of my life. As a bonus, my handwritten notes ended up helping someone else pass their real estate exam as well. Now you can save that for a rainy day :)

It's only $6 for 4 hours and there are so many art materials available to use. You reserve your spot online and pay when you arrive. Open studio is self-guided, but the staff is there to help you find materials and offer tips if needed. They have Paint, brushes, wood, beads, rubber stamps, hot glue, construction paper, graphic duct tape, felt, ect. If you choose to paint on a brand-new canvas, there is a slight up charge in addition to the studio fee. The staff was friendly and gave us a tour when we arrived. I wish i knew about this place earlier because they have been around since 1996. I love their motto - "a community art and art therapy studio that believes art is for everyone and everyone is an artist." They have therapeutic art programs for individuals with special needs, inclusive community programs and other special events. A great place for all ages and art abilities to spend the afternoon creating an art project or work on a craft. I hope this company continues to succeed to empower wellness and therapeutic healing through creativity.

Sometimes if you were really blessed the appointment after you would cancel and you could get massages back to back. It was truly amazing and it brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it!!!!!!!!! However, about a year ago, they discontinued this service. I was not even a student, just a random Joe schmo....an eternally grateful one that is. I'm just sayin' you might want to call the clinic and inquire. It's better than good....I would seriously drive from Milford, in a Blizzard to get there, that's how good! 20 stars, if that were possible. I rate the massage program a freaking Hailey's comet! They also were offering free yoga, but often times the instructor failed to show. This was not affiliated with the massage program. Also, people with no health insurance. PLEASE visit their dental program for teeth cleaning as low as 10 bucks. They also offer other services such as xrays and repairs. Just beware it takes forever...but for that price. As a social worker, I have referred hundreds! 5 star for the in need population. My opinion on the education is 1 star. Students teaching students, and not graduate students? Open book exams? Teacher gives you the questions/answers prior to tests? I guess it's like pay for your diploma just go through minimal actions. AND it is expensive. AND many of their credits do not transfer.

I immediately reported to the colleges English Director who said they would look into the issue, the teacher returned the following week saying she had a rough week and no lesson planned. This school is an expensive joke. OCC would be a better recommendation.
