Had a lower back pain for about four weeks that would not go away. If I bent over or sat down wrong it would feel like I had been japed with an ice pick. I decided to try the least invasive solution of message, hoping that would solve the problem. Tom's deep message treatment decreased the tightness and pain by 90% after the first treatment. The doctor knows exactly what he is doing, and he will give you suggestions in accordance to your specific situation. Prices are very affordable, with superb service. The appointment request website was a bit discouraging because he is booked for like a month, but if you do as we did, you'll see that sooner appointments may open up. My wife, after booking for an appointment next month, she kept checking the website, and something opened up, and there it is. Just be patient! There is plenty of parking. I was lucky enough to find there is a cancellation today so I decided to book right away. Dr. Meyer was right on time and the room was ready. I booked a half an hour massage and adjustment, but, dr. Meyer was kind enough to extend since there was another cancellation after me. I've got to say, I've been getting weekly Thai massages the last two months somewhere else and today's session with Dr. Meyer beat anything I've ever tried before. He truly knows how to work around tight and sore muscles without adding two much pressure to the point that it's painful. The adjustment was phenomenal as well. He decided not to go easy since it was my first session there but i walked out feeling a lot lighter with a much looser upper back. Doctor Tom is absolutely THE BEST massage therapist I have ever experienced, and I have been to massage school in San Francisco. My muscles are very tight and he is the only practitioner who is able to do extremely deep work while simultaneously listening to your particular needs. And the cost for an hour long session is only $40, less than half the cost of others, and so much better. $40 was my copay alone when I went to a physical therapist. Doctor Tom is so worth trying. I began to book weekly over a year ago and intend to continue because he helps me so much. His deep tissue work helps me through the rest of my week. Sometimes (like after being away on vacation) I have a two hour session which puts me right back on track. And besides all of his excellence, he is a very kindhearted and sweet soul. He is the only practitioner who has been able to work deeply enough on my super tight muscles. His intuition is superb, and he has a solid scientific background. Dr Meyer is the absolute best! His anatomical knowledge is first rate and I think this is what allows him to understand how all the pieces fit together and treat the total patient. His fee model is also quite refreshing. For adjustments and massage, it's great to have one simple fee and not to have a hassle dealing with insurance. Of course, the most important thing is that he is extremely skilled and has me feeling better right away. After the session, Dr. Tom notified me that some more work would help so another visit would be beneficial. I know he is a busy guy and he doesn't have many openings on a short notice.
