Divorce. Twice told to go to court. First time, they did not bother to show and did not bother to…read moretell me that the court date had been switched. An hour and a half before they finally get ahold of me, call service pings you around. I got charged over 700 for asking why they did not show. Fast forward month. I get a call saying we have court tomorrow. I verified a week ago that there was no court that day. Either I have a wet behind the ears lawyer costing her company money by chasing away clients, OR they intentionally do this so that they can charge you extra money. When I told my lawyer this, she elected to step down. New lawyer, sensitive. Don't go here. I should have read the reviews.

Absolutely horrible company! They get the attention of dad's that want more time with their kids,…read moreand claim that they care about their clients and their cases. This couldn't be further from the truth!!!! They will bill you for every single thing possible. They bill you for 10 mins just to return an email, that takes maybe 30 seconds to respond to. I was billed each week for two attorneys to have a discussion about my case when nothing had been done on my case in over two weeks! The attorney they assigned to my case came to court and wasn't prepared and the opposing council was so much more aggressive and prepared than he was. I emailed the attorney to tell him I did not want him or the firm to represent me any further, they continued to bill me for 2 or more items after that!!!! At the end of the day they don't care about you or your case, only the almighty dollar! Don't waste your time and money with these jokers! They just bill and bill and bill and produce zero results. I learned about their firm from WWLS The Sports Animal, and thought I would give them a try. Worst mistake of my life mentally and financially! If you are considering using this firm run the other was as fast as you can! And if I was WWLS I would not be endorsing them on the radio!

I would advise you to look elsewhere!!! I can only speak on what happened to me, but from reading…read morethe comments from other clients, it would appear what happened to me is standard practice for this law firm. I hired Dawn Williams and the firm Fathers Parental Rights Law Center to help me with modifying my divorce decree and to enforce visitation. I had spoken to several other law firms prior to speaking with Dawn. When I interviewed with her, she was amazing! I thought, alright, finally someone who knows what they are doing. Took a week and that quickly faded. Once she had my retainer all sense of urgency, accuracy and all-around effort on my case went out the window. · It took over 2 weeks to get my ex served. While checking with Dawn on the status she would tell me, oh they are serving her today. In the end, I personally ended up talking with the server and working with them to get my ex served. · The documents Dawn filed with the state were incorrect. She had the complete wrong parties' names on the forms. Keep in mind this was already submitted to the court and had I not seen it on OSCN.net, this error might have never been caught. · Dawn was terrible about communication. I would ask for status updates on my case, and she would go weeks and at times months to respond. She would then respond with some excuse as to why she was unable to respond timely. There was always some excuse, and it was always a personal or family matter. Things happen, but come on. · It took Dawn over a year to finish my case. In the end, I scrapped what I was initially going to try and get, and went strictly with enforced visitation. The 5 page document (last two pages were strictly signature pages) that Dawn FINALLY drafted ended up costing me over $3K to complete. Over a year to type up 3 pages??? Seriously?? · In December 2nd 2021, I explained to Dawn that my ex and I had reached an agreement, and to file and close the case with the temporary judgement and make it permanent. IN DECEMBER!!! I explained I had seen changes and was fine with it, just close my case. She doesn't respond. Then in January she shoots off an e-mail to my ex's attorney asking questions about these changes. I replied to Dawn and asked why she was doing this because I had already given instruction to close the case because we were good. Long story short and after lots of excuses, my case was filed....in MAY. · I hired Dawn in March of 2021. I paid a $3,500 retainer, despite being told it was only $2,500 on the initial phone call. Despite me asking MULTPLE TIMES, it took over a year to get a breakdown of my retainer charges. Then on the invoice I get in APRIL 2022, my retainer isn't listed at the correct amount. I reply and ask about that and say that I don't think some of these charges are correct. Almost a month later I get a new invoice, oh but Dawn has gone back in and added charges that were not on the original invoice. She also "deducted" charges, but then went back in and added 2 hours' worth of work to offset what she "deducted". At the time I worked for a public accounting firm, and I also bill clients for billable work and in my opinion, there are several fraudulent charges on my invoice. · Lastly with Dawn, her level of professionalism is laughable. She was terrible with communication, extremely unorganized and the bottom line is that she is not good at her job. I did write to her in April of 2022 and explain how unhappy I was and it was met with silence. She didn't even have the decency to own up to the fact she messed up, didn't handle this case as well as she should, and she owes me an apology. She failed to even let me know that my case had been filed, I had to hear it from my ex and also see her documents to know it was filed. Oh but the fun fact here is, the the document Dawn put together to send to my ex, still wasn't correct. It was the wrong format, and still had the wrong month listed. Literally, none of my documents submitted to myself or the state were correct when originally submitted. I did write to the firm to express my frustrations with Dawn and spoke with Tamra Spradlin. (Tamra was nice, she speaks very slow and soft and seems as if she's not all there at times.) That was a HUGE waste of time. I talked to her on the phone and explained everything. She said she would like for me to come in and talk with her. I didn't feel that was necessary as I had already said what I needed, but thought maybe she would fix it, and in an effort of good faith, actually review my case and see how poorly it was handled, how I was GROSSLY over charged and I legit thought she would apologize and refund me some of my retainer.....NOPE. She spent a good 30 minutes not listening to me at all, then going back to the invoices and kept harping on the fact Dawn was doing work on my case. I hope by sharing this it helps someone make a more informed decision when hiring an attorney and I hope they choose a different firm to represent them.

They 'cut to the chase' and maximized our time strategizing before our court appearances. In family law court, the firm's knowledge and personal relationships really assisted in the positive outcome of my case. They were very efficient with their involvement in the case cut my costs, and they were helpful in directing me to gather documents and information for effective pleadings and our strategy for our settlement. They really went to bat for me and I am very grateful for their services.
