Thomas' Photography is an amazing service. Colin and Angela are fun to work with, work incredibly fast, and produce amazing photographs that absolutely capture the personality of their subjects. I freely admit prior to working with them, I was content to slap my DSLR on a tripod with a timer, and pray I got something usable. Fast track to today, and I'll be a customer for life. Thomas has turned our holiday cards into the kind we are WARNED months in advance by friends and family they can't wait to receive. They capture the personality of everyone of my kids, as well as my wife and I. Nothing but great things to say about Thomas Photographic Services! We reached out for a family photo session at the last minute (one week in advance) and were told they had availability. We were familiar with their work from seeing the school pics they did for our son's daycare. This also gave us confidence that they would be able to get some good shots of our two young kids for the family photos and they exceeded expectations. It was so hard to narrow down the pics we loved because there were so many cute ones to choose from. Even though the weather on our shoot day was cold & rainy, they magically got the kids to cooperate and capture some good memories. We really have so many great things to say about the Thomases! They made our wedding day such a memorable moment and we are so lucky to have their photos to capture our big day. Recently, my husband and I were searching for a photographer to shoot newborn photos of our daughter. We are so glad we chose Thomas' Photographic Services! When we called ahead of the birth, Angela walked us through everything we needed to know and gave us tips on how to prepare our daughter so we'd have a successful shoot. I booked Thomas' Photographic Services for an engagement photo shoot in September of 2011 and was very happy with the whole experience. My fiance is in the military and was in town for a wedding of a friend so I took the opportunity to book us a session since he had his uniform with him. Let me just say that my fiance and I are both TERRIBLE subjects to take pictures of. Both of us get awkward and unnatural and just do not take good posed photos. Angela and Colin worked VERY hard to get us to open up and in the end we came out with some really fantastic shots. They were a lot of fun to work with and if we book them for the wedding the cost of the engagement session will be deducted from the total wedding cost...so essentially they were free! As part of the package I received an 8x10 and 11x14 photo on paper of my choice and a CD of all the other images that I had chosen to keep. I also was able to chose an outdoor location up to 30 miles away from the studio at no additional cost. I was very happy with our experience at Thomas' Photographic Services and was thrilled to be supporting a new local business. read more

Thomas Photographic has done many photo shoots for our family over the last four years and we've always been extremely happy. We've done multi-generational photo shoots with both sides of our family and lots of young children -- so not always the easiest of subjects -- and Angela and Colin are especially great with kids! This is a little late for a review, but better late than never. I was looking to have my baby girl's first picture with Santa at Christmas time and was looking for something closer to home and not as crazy as the mall or some of the other long lines like at the Tinley Park train station. I found through the Homewood Flossmoor Patch that Thomas' Photography was offering pictures with Santa. I called on a Saturday and they told me to come on down. I brought my baby and was able to change her into her outfit there. The couple who own the business (The Thomas') are very nice and professional. One of their uncles was dressed as Santa. Awesome white beard and all! They took the first photos and showed them to me. I asked if they wouldn't mind reshooting because my baby was a little too covered. It was hard to see her face. They had no problem with that and reshot the pictures. They came out wonderfully and the prints were quick as well. I hope they do the same thing this year. The experience was great and I'd rather put my money in their pocket than the corporate owned photo places with long lines and headaches. Oh yeah, did I mention they were the same price as the mall guys? I plan on getting a family portrait done this summer. read more
