This is a location off the US 84 in Georgia. A truck stop, Greyhound bus stop, and travel stop for everyone else, they serve all the basic needs. Since I arrived late, or very early in the morning, the place was lit up. I would not walk away from the travel center at this time of day cause only darkness is near. They have some fried foods here that you should get during regular business or risk warmed over old food. The chicken however, was not bad at all. I went to the restroom which seemed fairly clean and did not stink. They only had one hand dryer but no paper towels. The customer service associates did not look as if they wanted to be there. They were slow and cold. No personable skills, which goes against the traditional Southern hospitality. Overall however, this is an alright place for a ten hour break, to fuel and get out for a minute, or to grab a quick snack for the road. read more

The chicken dinner was what I heard about from other truckers so I had to check it out while I was here. I got here about 5pm and had plenty of parking available. Went in for the chicken, the lady behind the counter was very helpful in answering all my questions she's probably heard them all before but she still did it with a smile. She was very nice and patient. The chicken was hot and delicious and if I weren't so full I'd go get more. The store front had the usual convenient store items plus a section of the store for truck supplies, emergency equipment, gloves...etc. I'll be checking out the shower later on and let you know, by the way; the rest rooms were clean, toilets were clean, plenty of tissue.washing hands the water was mild warm and soap dispenser was filled and working.
