Admittedly, it may stop me from staying there again due to the noise and not quite feeling as safe outside. Between other guests letting their doors slam, the traffic and storms, the nights were restless. Of course the latter isn't their fault and really, neither are the rude guests. As for the hotel, everyone was nice from the front desk, maintenance I said hello to and the breakfast staff. They have a simple breakfast buffet in the morning for those that have it included in their stay, otherwise you pay $12.95 for it. Luckily it was included because I don't each much for breakfast but like to have some eggs and coffee in the morning. They have a decent coffee bar set up and an attendant that is also quick to refill it while you're eating. I wasn't initially prepared to tip anyone, as I've never experienced an attendant actively assisting guests like that. So keep that in mind at breakfast. There's a small snack store available day and night, along with a bar area for happy hour in the evening. I didn't partake in either, but it's nice to see the availability of needed. As for the room, it was comfortable. I was pleased with a real blackout shade! No need to try to pull curtains together to block out that pesky strip on light that undoubtedly always hits you in the face, regardless of where you lay on the bed! Keurig coffee, microwave and a mini fridge, which is always helpful. The room was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom. I'm torn between 3-4 stars but choosing 4, since I don't want to dock them for the street noise and vagrancy outside. All in all decent; with some drawbacks.

The bathroom door is a pocket door with a 3 inch gap at the top for the rollers and held closed by a magnet on the wall that catches on the end of the pocket door. If you don't align it properly, the door continually slides back into the wall. The hot water situation is nothing short of abominable. Currently, we have no hot water in the shower or the sink. So we decided to go down to breakfast. Coming back up to our room, the elevator opened for us to enter, but when we got to the ninth floor, the doors would not open. We went to the eighth floor, where the elevator doors did open, got out, and took the stairs up to the ninth floor to gain entry to our room. Tried three times to call the front desk from our room and each time were cut off. Finally reached someone at the front desk and advised them that the elevator was having issues by not opening on the ninth floor. She said she'd send maintenance and hung up. She didn't ask which elevator of the 3 elevators available was having issues, what the problem was, or if we were safely back in our room before disconnecting our call. Needless to say the only thing I'd recommend at this hotel is the breakfast. I certainly expected better from a Hilton hotel.

She made the refund process easy and quickly got us set up with a room for that same night. She was absolutely amazing and turned a stressful situation into a great experience. The room itself was incredible--spacious, clean, and perfect for our family. The kids loved having extra space, and the bathroom was huge. The beds were extremely comfortable, which was much needed after a long day of travel. We also enjoyed spending time at the pool, which was a fun bonus for the kids. Breakfast the next morning was spectacular with so many options--everything was fresh and delicious. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would absolutely love to come back again!

I visited this past weekend was happy with every aspect of my visit. Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly front desk manager who found me an available room several hours before my scheduled check in time. The room, was spacious, clean and comfortable. Perhaps most importantly, the temperature was really well controlled -- a must given that it was only about 15 degrees outside! I've provided several photos, but they do not do justice to the inviting feel of the room! I used the gym on both mornings of my stay and I want to hi-light the gym as a great feature of the hotel. Cardio, free weights and a weight machine are all available. I was in the gym for approximately 50 minutes each morning and I had the gym to myself. Guests have no excuses if they do not work out while visiting! I'll right a separate review of Flint, the on-premise restaurant, but I had breakfast there twice and both times I had a great meal! I don't know that I will make my way back to Oklahoma City, but if I do, I will be staying at the Colcord!
