In September of 2020, my mother passed away. Several years before that, she purchased, and paid in…read morefull, for a pre-planned funeral. The service itself went as my mom had planned. The problem is with the headstone engraving, which was included in the package she purchased. In June of 2022, about 20 months after my mom passed, we noticed that the date of death was never engraved on the headstone. I called the funeral home 2 times in two weeks. When I didn't hear back from them, I left a message that I would be contacting The Better Business Bureau. That day, I received a call from Mark. After a few texts back and forth, he forwarded me a copy of an email from the engraver stating that the headstone would be completed by 9/4/2022, possibly before that. He also told me that he would be specifically staying on them for this item. Since I didn't hear from him, on 9/7/2022 I texted to check on the status. I got no response. The next day I texted him again stating that since I hadn't heard from him, I was assuming the headstone was still not completed and would be contacting the BBB and leaving comments on review boards. I heard back immediately from him stating he was out of the office yesterday and would follow up on this matter. It has been 2 years since my mom passed. I don't think it's asking too much for my mom to get what she paid for.

Robert Taylor was a tremendous help. He came to the house when my mom passed. He eased my dad's worries and answered every question in an understanding and calming demeanor. The day we met Robert to set up the funeral arrangements he was once again great. His answers were "we will take care of that for you" and "we can do what ever makes you feel at peace." He even went with us that day to pick out a plot at the cemetery. We were told by someone that there are only 2 people they know who does that (Robert being one of them). He is also helping my dad with a headstone as well. The funeral home itself is gorgeous! The inside is huge. There are plenty of side areas and also a small coffee area. The landscaping is well manicured. Everybody there was courteous and helpful as well. I have dealt with Nancy Duskas in the past and always liked her. We didn't deal with her personally this time, but during the funeral she payed her respects. Very classy. After all that we thought their work was done. We were wrong. Robert shows up at my dad's house with the bed sheet and 2 towels (that were with my mom) laundered. All the flowers. A book of all the flowers photographed and who they were from. They also gave us the guest book that had the names of the people who payed respects as well as a "Family Record" of the people related to my mom. This year I was faced with another. Dusckas-Taylor hands down is the best there is!!!! Robert Taylor goes above and beyond.
