I made a few inquiries with different people and after being ignored completely by some and given very expensive estimates by others, I came across Matthew with Southern Scapes. I left my information for an estimate and he got back to me very promptly with what I thought was a very good estimate. He even said he would come out the very next day. Once I gave him my address, because he maintains other yards in the neighborhood, he lowered his price even more from his original estimate. I was floored, but super happy. He let me know he was coming the next morning and was right on time. His communication with me was excellent and before he left, he made sure everything was to my satisfaction. Not only that, but our backyard was full of piled leaves from the Winter... he said he planned to mulch them up and get the yard cleaned up so we can get some grass growing. He treated our yard like it was his own. He even said he would spray our flower beds, the ditch and around the trees at no additional charge. He and his companion weed eated around the entire property and blew everything off nice and clean. I dare say the yard has never looked this good. I am so happy to have found them. They exceeded my expectations in every single way. I almost can't wait for the grass to grow so they can come back! This business is a sham. My project is the flower bed in the 1st 2 pictures. He was supposed to…read moredo the flower bed and border it. Instead of removing the grass all he did was put a minimum amount of mulch over the grass and spray. It look terrible after a few days. He came back after I contacted him several times and just sprayed the grass leaving it looking terrible. I spend money and hours digging up the grass, putting the proper amount of mulch on it and bordering it. I also paid him $$$$$ to get rid these weeds in a patch in my front yard. He had to stay them several times killing lots of grass but the weeds grew back!!! DO NOT USE this company.
