Update: After my…read morehusband contacted One Way Landscaping, someone came out to look at our plants and they determined the plants were planted correctly and that the dead plants were our fault for not watering appropriately. We were told to water them for a week, I watered them for two weeks solid and then switched to every other day. After a back and forth with the company, they did offer to refund the $125 for the 5 plants that were dead as an olive branch. As stated in my previous review, Josh and his mom were easy to work with. I just wish we were told to wait to plant until a better planting season. While both Josh and his mom were very nice to work with, the work done on our property was subpar, if that. We purchased (through a nursery) plants to create a border and Josh picked them up and installed them for us. We took his advice on what plants to get. Within a week we had one bush begin to die. I called One Way and was told that they do not warranty they work/plants and that I should call the nursery. They did offer to replant a replacement for free (if I purchased the $20 plant). I called the nursery and while they do offer a warranty, they do not offer them of plants sold to landscapers. Just our luck. We let it go and decided we would replace the plant ourselves soon. Now we have 5 plants that are dying out of the 20 that were purchased. They were watered correctly and everything possible on our end was done right. I called another landscaper to come out and tell us what the problem was, apparently NONE of the plants are planted deep enough. None. So either we have to dig them up and hopefully not kill roots and dig the holes deeper or we have to start again from scratch. $$$ down the drain. I can't imagine how a company cannot stand behind their work the way One Way has. Stay away!!

We hired this company to build large retaining walls and steps in our front yard. There were…read moredelays with city permits that set the project back, but we were lucky to get a 4-5 hour work day out of these people since they were busy with the "mowing" portion of their business which, frankly, they should have stuck to. My husband has documented many mistakes in the installation of the walls and many instances of a lack of knowledge as to proper installation. The facts are many and complicated. They also refused to provide copies of any licenses and/or insurance information. In short, DO NOT hire this company unless all you want is your grass mowed.
