Never shame me when I often forget to wear my mouth guard or that I have some chips or degradation of my teeth given the condition of my bite. I was even late one time by around 15 mins and I felt terribly sorry and they were able to fit me in and never even showed any negativity, which I wouldn't blame them if they did! The minor fillings I had was done super quick and no pain, if at all, just minor. They were also very gentle with the cleaning compared to other places where I would be dreading to go. This place makes it feel more relaxing. They even have a TV mounted to the ceiling so you can choose a Netflix show to watch while you get your dental work done. Best part, when you check out with your payment, they help you submit to your insurance so you don't need to deal with the paperwork, which is just the best! You still need to pay first and it gets auto reimbursed from the provider to you. Now I'm not sure how their price is compared to others. Another neighbourhood friend asked where I go so I referred to this place but they said it was expensive because they're out of pocket and don't have insurance coverage.

Dr Lai takes his time to explain all the options available for my particular case and takes the time to discuss the pros and cons of each. He doesn't shame me for the amount of fillings I've gotten in the past, a result of poor upbringing and education as a child and an over aggressive previous dentist. He isn't pushy about drilling holes into my teeth, he always asks if its a real problem for me before he decides to do that and doesn't feel like he's trying to gouge me as much as possible. His hygienist is equally great! Extremely patient and thorough, she always makes sure that I'm comfortable and tells me what she's going to do before doing it. It takes a high level of trust to open one's mouth for a stranger to stick sharp metal sticks into, and sometimes some hygienists tend to forget that. Receptionist has been the same for a very long time. Excellent professional service and a delight to work with. I find the environment appealing without being too over the top. His dental chair is extremely comfortable and it makes me wonder if he's purchased the higher end of dental chairs haha I still appreciate the high level of regard they have for public health safety even though a lot of other places have lifted all restrictions regarding COVID. Before my appointment, I learned that my originally booked dentist had an emergency. Dr. Igor Vujanic (who is also the owner of the practice) stepped in to take care of me, along with his assistant. I couldn't have asked for better care. Both were warm, friendly, and professional from start to finish. Dr. Igor took the time to clearly explain what he was doing, which I really appreciated -- it made the whole experience much more comfortable. Best of all, I was done within 30 minutes of sitting in the chair. A couple of practical tips for new patients: this is a very busy office, so booking ahead is essential as they fill up fast, especially it seems the practice recently went from 4 dentists down to 3. Also, I'd suggest giving yourself more than a tight one-hour window for your appointment -- in a real-world clinical setting, previous appointments can sometimes run a little over, and you don't want to feel rushed. Plan for a comfortable buffer and you'll have a stress-free visit. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Igor and his team for their professionalism, clear communication, and genuine care for their patients.

When I called initially to inquire about registering as a new patient, Chau was very nice and understanding on the phone, answering any questions I may have, and following up with me to ensure that all my insurance documents and forms will be set before my appointment. There is a New Patient Form on their website that you just have to complete before the appointment to save time. When I arrived at their office for my appointment, I immediately noticed the cleanliness and neatness of the place. There's Nintendo Wii and Xbox stations for kids, large TV, lots of seating at the waiting room, good lighting, really great set-up over-all, a very welcoming atmosphere. Just about 3 minutes after I arrive for my 10AM appointment, I was then greeted by Daisy, a dental hygienist. She asked me first of all if I have any immediate concerns with my dental health, and the main reason for my visit. I told her I do want to register, and that I have not gone to the dentist in at least 8 years.. yikes! During the comprehensive exam, before Daisy proceeded with each test, she would explain to me the process first, and what needs to be done. After showing me the results of my photos and x-rays, she gave me advice on how to maintain good dental health, and also what procedures I had to go through to fix some very few issues with my teeth. Oh, and here's the best part. There are 2 TVs in the room! One on the wall for when you're sitting up, and one on the ceiling right in front of you for when you're laying down, so you can watch TV and distract yourself during cleaning or any procedure they are doing. The whole time I was holding the remote control... nice.. well, in my opinion that distracted me and made me feel a little less crazy and distracted from all the drilling I can hear. Dr. Daniel dropped by for a few minutes, introduced himself, again made me feel comfortable and ran some quick checks as well. He has a very soothing voice and a very friendly smile, again making me feel calm. After the appointment, I was given a bag of goodies.. YAY! I have another appointment coming up in a week, and I am sure it will be as great as this one! I highly recommend ForestBrook Dental. I already convinced my husband to sign-up as well. They do take care of all the paperwork regarding insurance, and as a patient, I feel very well-informed about what needs to be done next in my dental care plan.
