What she didn't tell me was the cost of the medication was $10 and the remaining $50 was her administration fee. I discovered this when I submitted it to my insurer and got very little reimbursement. I naively thought administering injections was part of her normal services just as it is for my family doctor. I felt there was a real lack of full disclosure on her part. Not impressed! Weeks later I dealt with the nurse coordinator to arrange referral to the plastic surgeon. She requested I email a picture of the skin lesion and she would make the necessary arrangements. She lost the picture somehow and never did anything further including informing me of this. I re-sent the picture again and waited. Well, weeks later - no phone call, no email, nothing! I never heard from her again so I moved on... My experience with this clinic - I would say unprofessional and a poorly run outfit. I suspect they make big coin from doing all their cosmetic procedures so they don't really care about patient referrals from Family Docs. I ended up going to the Cardiff Medical Skin Centre in Oakville and had a much better experience.

They have a bunch of services there but nobody at front desk so it can get confusing on where to go. Fear not- walk through the door directly facing you as soon as you go into unit 3. Roman is very welcoming and thorough with the whole explanation of why it helps, how it helps and the reasons behind the whole process. He adjusts the procedure to every person- I only went to -165 (k I get cold in the summer) while my boyfriend got down to -195. You're given shoes and gloves + he talks to you through the entire process to give you instructions on what to do (keep breathing, shoulders up, hands up etc) as he analyzes how well your body is adapting to the cold. Generally felt no anxiety through this and very relaxed with full trust in him. As soon as I exited, I felt rejuvenation and my tight back instantly felt looser with more mobility. I had a spike in energy and just felt better within. They have session packages $500 for 10 sessions and it gets cheaper as you buy more- $50 a sesh is definitely worth; as someone who's a heavy power lifter with gym sessions 6-8 times a week, this is definitely a great side to add to training - health and wellness is more important than anything so I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who's tired, has inflammation issues, tense etc. Definitely contact them, or give them a insta follow @cryotherapy_toronto to check it out. Dr. Michael Davis is a wonderful dermatologist!…read more He really takes his time to try and understand and treat your concerns. He frequently checks in to see your progress, outside of your appointment time. He is very reachable by email, and quick to respond too! I defiantly feel like he really wants to try and make everything better, even referring me to a specialist when something in my bloodwork came up that was concerning. He seemed more concerned about my wellbeing (due to the bloodwork) than the specialist--which really shows the difference between doctors. As for my dermatology concerns, he seemed very knowledgeable and explained any reasons behind it. He prescribed me some medication to help with the issue, and explained every other option available as well. He laid out any side effects and a timeline for me to start noticing a difference. I would definitely recommend coming to Dr. Michael Davis to help with your dermatology concerns! The only downside is the receptionist at the dermatology clinic he works at--probably some of the rudest receptionists in existence. It really doesn't matter what you ask them, they'll give you incredible attitude. I heard them talking to people on the phone and also other patients who came in to book follow up appointments and they were rude to all of them from the very beginning. I highly doubt EVERY client who calls is so troublesome that you need to slam the phone down every time. When I had first called the clinic to check when my first appointment was, the receptionist sounded absolutely exasperated when she gave me the information, and only the bare minimum. Please don't judge the doctors who work at this clinic based on the receptionist's attitude. The doctors are very good at what they do!
