Both times, I was warmly greeted as soon as I arrived, had someone offer to take my coat and given the choice of a hot or cold beverage while seated. The spa itself and rooms are aesthetically pleasing and the rooms are incredibly clean as one would expect at a high-end spa. I've been to many spas and been going for facials for years and this is one of the most relaxing and professional places I've been to. As a result of my initial experiences, I've gone on to purchase several other packages including the hydration facial and laser pigmentation (3 treatments) which I will update this review after those experiences. I underwent a series of CO2 laser treatments, including fractional laser on my cheeks, for my icepick acne scars between 2022 and 2023. Unfortunately, my experience was highly disappointing. Despite spending over $6,000 on 6 sessions and additional mandatory treatment skincare products, the results did not meet expectations. This was extremely disheartening in the end, as the procedure itself was extremely painful, requiring a full week of downtime after each session. TREATMENT: During my treatments, I noticed inconsistencies in the care provided. While Ina, the technician responsible for most of my sessions, did take her time during less busy appointments, I noticed she would rush through sessions when her schedule was packed. Given that EACH session cost around $1,000 for 50 minutes of treatment time, I expected a more consistent level of care. I understand it's a business, but for the cost, a little more attention and respect to the patient should have been given... I strongly believe there is a chance that I did not get the results I was told by the staff I would get, because of the lack of attention actually given during the treatments. CUSTOMER SERVICE: After 3x initial sessions, I was advised in December 2022 to undergo an additional 3, with the clinic CONFIDENTLY promising me a 60% reduction in the appearance of my scars. Unfortunately, after completing all 6 sessions, I saw little to no improvement (less than 10%). Rather than addressing my concerns with empathy, Ina and the front desk staff attempted to sell me more sessions, which was disheartening, considering the financial and emotional investment I had already made. Overall, this experience gave me the impression that the clinic prioritizes profit over patient care. Considering the pain, time, and significant cost involved, I expected a higher standard of professionalism, bedside manner, and customer service. I strongly do NOT recommend this clinic, as it appears to focus more on profit than truly helping patients.

It is not easy, especially that, until recently, almost none of these businesses clearly advertised such a service. A nudist for many years, I had to suffer shaving around my penis and testicles when a smooth down-under became fashionable in nudist villages, resorts, hotels, beaches, etc. The culture of "waxing and sugaring are a woman thing" no longer holds water. True, still very few women beauticians are brave enough to invade man's private parts for the purpose of man-scaping, but some younger generation of beauticians don't subscribe to that stigma.
