I have used Thornton's for years, refusing to fill my car anywhere else. That being said, I'm aware…read morethey were bought out by BP but I haven't seen a difference in their fuel quality until the other day after filling my car, which I do every 3 days, my car started idling strangely, and sounding like it wanted to die for a few minutes before going back to it's normal idle. It would do this out of nowhere, while stopped at a light sometimes, or just driving down the road sometimes, no rhyme or reason. Yesterday, it was time to fill up again and for the first time in years I decided to fill up at a different gas station. It's only been a day but I haven't noticed the strange idle. Tho I'm listening for it now just in case. I did some research on line and found that BP is replacing the Thornton's fuel with their own fuel companies. This saddens me because I will no longer be using Thornton's fuel. I believe they have the best deals but I can't risk the health of my car.
