It's a conveniently located gas station on the corner. My old car sucks down the gas so I visited to fill up. The pump worked so I had no complaints. Maybe I will sign up for the discount card for next time since they apparently give a discount if you are a member. Life is good with gas! read more

We have really enjoyed this Thorntons since it opened near us. Lots of easy access Gad pumps and usually the lowest price in the area. PLUS the Thornton's membership garners you an extra nickel discount per gallon! Today most stations around were about $3.30 to $3.40 per gallon. But my Thorntons was $3.13 minus 5 cents. So $3.08 per gallon. Still high but lowest of the current highs. And lots of snacks, drinks, etc on hand always. read more

I needed gas fast so on my way to work I saw this place and stopped by to fill up. It was clean and safe. It's easy to get in and then back on Tampa road. If you need gas then stop on by. The prices are usually reasonable. read more

I stopped in on the way to The Vault of Souls to pick up a cup of Coffee and a sandwich for dinner later that night. I was THRILLED to see that not only did they have a selection of flavoured creamers, but they also offer pump chocolate, caramel and another flavor that I can't remember. Their coffee bar was extensive. I wish I could say the same for the pre-made sandwiches. I could chose from 3 subs that didn't have mayo, and since this was going to sit in my bag for a few hours, that was optimal. I did pick a Cuban and that was fine. The clerks were awesome, bleeding through a line fast and with a smile, fast to say "Happy Halloween" to each and every person. read more

Just stopped in to get some gas 4ppl all customers nobody wearing a mask. Nobody at the store said a world to them!! This is why we will never get back to normal. As I write this 2 more ppl just walked in with masks half off of their faces. I'm sorry you have to do better!! If you think it's all bs then stay home I don't want to get people at my family sick or people I work with sick!! If they allow this do you think they sanitize anything in this place!! This Thorntons is new to our area! Located on Tampa Rd in Oldsmar. It's brand new, just opened about two or three months ago. There are a lot of pumps, they are clean, well maintained and easy to use. The inside is clean, well organized and holds a good variety of quick stop convenient store times. Thorntons offers a rewards card that like most all others gives you specials, price cuts, discounts on gas among other stuff. Well worth the few minutes it takes to get one. There are two entrances/exits, one located on Tampa road just past the Forest Lakes Light and one off of Forest Lakes when turning right. Both are easy to access. Their gas prices are running right along with the average and are actually a few cents lower which can add up to a nice savings. Nice, new, clean and well lit at night gas station! I was trying to purchase tobacco and the tall white guy with the glasses at the cashier wanted to ID me and the people who were in the car with me which doesn't make sense because the policy is the buyer has to be 21 not the parties. but then allows me to come into the store to make the purchase without my mask. So my thing is why follow one rule and not the other? (My friends are black) My only understanding is that the cashier was intimidated and wanted to play by the rules because that's in his nature. This is arguably the nicest gas station I have been to in quite some time. This location is a few years old and very well designed. The fuel area is far enough way from the convenient area to where there is not a lot of traffic causing congestion all over. Inside of Thornton's is clean, organized, well laid out and very spacious. The drink selection is large and the fountain area is as good as it gets. They have about 20 fountain options to choose from and the lid/straw area is clean and easy to navigate through. I do like how they have adapted to Circle K's .69 cent polar pop and offering their very own .69 cent version. If only Thornton's was on the other side of the street I would be there more often. read more

Gas station convenient location. Clean pump area and gas is usually pretty cheap. Inside is nice and clean. This brand of gas stations is new to the area so don't know a lot about them but so far they are doing well from what I can see. Will go here if I'm in the area and the gas price is lower then others. There is a Resturant that we go to that is close to here and that is the main reason we are in this area. So give it a try. Very nice, bright and clean inside and out. There is plenty of room to maneuver around the gas pumps, wider parking spots in front of the store, and not cramped inside. Nicely laid out. The store has plenty of stock to choose from from and they also have fresh fruits, freshly-made breakfast and lunch sandwiches and pastries. At the gas station. I come here get gas lemonade freezes sometimes chips. It's clean on the inside and the outside. Across the street from Walmart I love the Loyalty Rewards. They cut down on the cost of gas and sometimes I get a free freeze. Bottom line it's a gas station read more
