I went back in and the cashier said he accidentally cancelled my pre-payment. I swiped my gift card again, but it now showed a zero balance. It was suggested that I call Circle-K customer service, which I did. The market manager was very gracious and helpful, and I was told I could return to the station and receive gas at the same value as I lost with my gift card. So, I am grateful this problem was settled to my satisfaction. I will continue to shop this station knowing that the managers there care about their customers. Well done.
