She does not use email and will only take a name and number when you call. Then you are lucky if she will call you from her car on her way home. Do not under any circumstances retain this law firm. It will end up Costing you tens of thousands of dollars and you will not get results that are favorable.

Other than the few court filings that I was either responding too or filing myself, they were completely useless. Not to mention charging 2.5 hours for "preparing for trial" when it was deliberated in less than 10 minutes before the trial. There was nothing to prepare for that we already didn't know. In a previous court session..my actual lawyer went on vacation and his assistant took over. I had to call to figure out wtf was the trial about and she ended up accepting deals that I never even was told about. Not to mention the "law changed" in between time periods and yet I only went to trial based on the old "statute" and would of taken the settlement straight away ‍. But that's just to leech more money off you. Lawyers in general are leeches but these guys take the cake. Don't use these guys if you need a family lawyer Walworth county. They genuinely didn't add any value to anything. They didn't really put up a defense for me whatsoever. I came up with counter points to claims. They didn't provide anything when it came to that matter. Why even have a lawyer if that's the case? Not to mention being charged for 15minutes of a phone call that lasted 2 minutes. And wouldn't need a phone call if they just responded to an email that also costs you $20 back and forth. But you also get charged for the phone call about the email. All in all..LEECHES. Made numerous errors during the trial, misspoke several times, passed up openings to catch the plaintiff telling or fabricating untruths all while assuring me that she had a good strategy and game plan. She became very flustered and lost focus even to the point where she could not remember the basic facts of the case. Her ineptitude cost me a much more than just an extended order of restraint based upon a fantasy of fear, it has cost me my good name by labeling me a domestic abuser for the rest of my life by anyone who looks up this case. Oh, at the end when we asked if there was any course of action we could take in repeal, she stated there was not. However, there is an appeal process to this and she was either too inept or too ignorant to know. One positive, when I did complain to the partners at the end of the trial, they did take what I had to say very seriously. So, again, maybe it is just the lawyers with the training wheels one needs to avoid here.
