One set of sliding glass doors would not even open, because the base was so warped, but no mention in his report. We are now selling the house and King Inspection service was chosen by the buyers. Jake reported that the attic was wet and needed to be repaired to prevent mold and mildew and that the automatic stricker on the fireplace needed to be fixed. The attic had a leak back in 2012 that was repaired and had remained dry since, but I had to hire someone to check it out and affirm there was no mold or mildew and everything had been previously repaired properly. When he was here I tried to hand Jake the key for the fireplace and offered to bring him a stricker so he could light the fireplace, but he stepped back, threw his hands in the air and said "That's not my job." When I showed him the key he should have known this fireplace did not have an automatic sticker. He said the same thing when I tried to give him a number so he could make certain the keyless entry worked and again when I tried to hand him the remote so he could test the sunsetter awning.
