The owner, Sathya, quickly answered my call and then escorted me into the salon. I ended up being a few minutes late because I was "lost" but Sathya did take me and after a quick discussion as to what I was looking for quickly had me seated and started. She was very personable and had her young daughter there as I was the last appointment of the day. She was professional and efficient and in 15-20 mins was done tidying up my brows (which were suffering from neglect as I have not regularly seen someone since moving to Frederick). She has a mirror to let you check her work but I did not need additional clean up (which I'm sure she would have done). Threading is not painless and she checked before she started that I had threading done previously so I knew what to expect. All in all quick and painless process. I requested my eyebrows to be arched but I wanted to maintain the thickness of my brows. I literally have two different brown shapes. Only one brow is how I actually requested and was actually completed first. Which leads to me to not understand why the other brow couldn't be done the exact same. It's way thinner and is noticeably different. Having a symmetrical eyebrow shape is very important. Your staff needs to take their time with paying clients eyebrows. She quoted me nearly double than what booking online and the front desk confirmed for a partial highlight with toner. The stylist mentioned a third component she might have to charge me for but only 8/10 times she has to do this component. I left paying a fourth quote. After she blew me out I mentioned that my hair was darker than I thought it would be and she said after a few washes it would fade. I didn't complain further and left. When I got home I was really upset and unhappy. I called the salon to see if maybe she could just fix the toner because I didn't want to have to re do the highlights.
