Wow!! Three Bags Full was a pleasant surprise! They were not in Yelp, but a shop in Shediak showed up - about half an hour away. Before taking that drive, was going to call them to check their hours, only to find out they had closed permanently. Boo! However, further research showed that TBF was open, and closer to where we are visiting. So, everyone else was busy doing other things, so I headed down by myself to go take a look. I'm looking for yarn and tools to knit myself slipper-socks and mittens, and souvenir yarns. It doesn't look that big a place from the front of the shop, but it's long and narrow, with plenty of yarn and inspiration in it! When I walked in, the shop clerk was sitting at a table, knitting, watching for clients. She put her project down right away, and helped me find what I needed (good thing I had brought the book with me!) And as I've just finished knitting a pair of socks, I needed a new project, so I asked if she could wind the yarn up for me, which she did. It's a lovely shop! If I lived closer, I'd take time to sit and knit there on a regular basis. PS: the clerk told me that they've been open only since June 1st! Bravo and kudos!! Good luck too! read more
