Rented house for 2.5 years. They charged me $1900 for security deposit and $250 for pet deposit…read more When we moved in the backyard, which is huge, was horrible. Over 15 broken beer bottles worth of glass, over 100 4 inch nails and screws, an unfired .223 round in a makeshift fire pit. That is not a way to prepare a yard for someone paying to have a pet at the house. Took me hours to pick everything up and was still picking up glass or screws 2 years later. The back door didn't lock when we moved in so they sent someone over who drilled a hole on top of the sliding glass door and put a screw in it so it locked. $2000 a month a that's how they fix things. Had roof tile hanging over the back patio, could have killed someone if it fell at the right time and it took them almost 3 weeks to have someone come out. When I told them I was moving out I advised that they only had 2 of the 3 paints for the inside. Lease stated I was to fill in and paint over any holes from pictures, etc. and they would provide the paint. They told me to go get it matched and buy a small can. I said no way. 12/2024 I informed them I would be moving out and gave them opportunity to show it as much as possible. My lease was over end of 2/2025. Moved out on 1/15 and could have taken my time but was hoping they would rent it out so got out in 2 days from closing on my house. Paid $430 to have house professionally cleaned. They acknowleded that they rented it out starting 2/1/2025. They then sent me $418.25 of my security deposit and the letter states it was because I "broke the lease". Nothing wrong with the house, no itemized list of damage. I paid rent on time or early for 2.5 years. Every issue I had they were completely unprofessional except one maintenance request, every other issue they were horrible. I spoke to a broker who thinks because they rented the house that I'm entitled to the entire $1,900, they just wanted to double dip since they get ripped off by terrible renters. If you're a good renter, they will take advantage. I know this because Bethany told me the people who rented the house before me owed them months of rent. The subject came up because two bounty hunters banged on my door and demanded to come inside to look for the previous renter who moved out 18 months prior. Very traumatic to my wife and son but she didn't care. Still kept over half of my deposit. The guy Brandon won't even communicate, he makes his wife on his behalf. She told me that he was the one who told me to go match the wall paint and buy a can. When I called about my deposit she said he'd call me back and of course he didn't. Just bad people. I hope more renters rip them off in the future.

After 3 months and maybe 2 showings, he left the company due to differences he had with the owner. I was then "assigned" to a 19 year old kid with no experience...who has yet to even phone me! I contacted owner Chris Helland and requested to take the home off the market, as I am moving into it. After several days he sent me a cancellation, along with a bill for a $4000 cancellation fee! (the full commission). To my surprise, that clause was in the listing agreement. I find that his main competitors do not charge a fee for cancelling. He will not back off, giving me the only option of riding out the remaining 6 month listing, keeping it on the market, only owing a commission for a full price offer, which won't happen. Be aware, as well, that his commissions (normally 10% of sale price) in my case $5990, although I negotiated it down to $4000. His major competitors charge $3000 total, and they have 3-5 agents working, versus his 2. His lack of professionalism is evident, and is clearly just out for the $$$. BEWARE!
