Also steps away from great and visually stunning playgrounds "the depot" and "Picasso pointe". These murals are beautiful and stunning and make for awesome photo ops for all ages. They have pretty cool blue texture in front of the murals that adds to all the vibrant colors of the NoCo area. Overall extremely cool place. The whole NoCo area I'm excited for to see where it goes and how it grows. I've definitely found a new spot to take my kids and spend a day at.

It's super close and easily walkable from the Indiana side of the bridge. It's in the same area as the Perceptual Perception installation, so you can see both at once, which is great! If you're looking for something really interesting to see in the area, I highly recommend going to check it out!

Painted on a garage door of a commercial building i did not see an artist name. But it's a pretty solid piece. There is also a beat up car that looks like the incredible hulk destroyed that is painted up in front of the painting. I'm not sure if this is part of the Art of just a coincidence. It looks to destroyed to be an accident but this is a rougher neighborhood so who knows. My kids and there friends enjoyed it through as you can tell from the pics as I got the "take a pic . Overall solid addition to the local public art scene in Lousiville Kentucky. A few other nearby pieces in the area of you at a mural or public art fan.

I made my own free outdoor art gallery. This piece is on a garage door and seems a bit aged. It is in a somewhat industrial area. I don't know when it was made or who made it. It has a slight sign of vandalism, A bright yellow "B" on it, which may be some type of tag. It is intended to give you the appearance of looking through a tunnel to a windy road. I can see it, but it not as good as some of the other 3D murals that I have seen. There is lots of free street parking available to for you to get out and check out the mural. Be careful though because cars race up and down the street. I guess they have places to be. However, it is not a very long stop anyway and you probably could accomplish what you want to in the comfort of your vehicle. Definitely a must see of Louisville public art. So, as I have mentioned, it is best to plan out stops at many of the other wonderful murals that are within a mile or two and make a day of it.

This particular piece being on a garage door is one of the larger murals part of the project. It's is of a nature type scene and is down very well and is a very comforting piece. Overall it's fun discovering all these alley gallery murals hidden throughout the city by so many different artists. Cool piece .

Probably not often seen since it was visible from a dead end street and alley and directly next to the train tracks. But I spotted it and headed in that direction to see if I could get any closer. It is possible. It took me a second to figure out who it was, and it took me getting home and searching Yelp to discover that there was already a check in. Anyway. It is cool. I like Damon Thompson's style. And i like stumbling upon any of his work wherever I am in town.

Located at what many consider the end of the waterfront park trail (could be the beginning depending where you park). The best way to explain how to find this place is go to Joe's Crab Shack and Stan d next to it and you can't miss it. Tucked in the back of the park near the river. If you walk straight back towards the road there also another cool sculpture called tetra. Gracehopper was made by sculptor Tony smith in 1989. It is one of the larger and more unique sculptures in the entire city. I always enjoy checking this sculpture and tetra out when visiting waterfront park. Two great pieces for the public art scene in the city of louisville.
