I stayed in the Forest cabin (a tiny home) and had the best experience and sleep of my trip! The cabin was pristinely clean and had so many perfect details integrated throughout. The bed (up in the loft) was high quality and incredibly comfortable. I was surprised to have tv and good WiFi in this remote location. The resort was quiet with a mix of cabins, rv spots, and tent camping. Both the interior and outdoor deck of the little cabin were comfy and worth the price. The drive to the Third Beach trailhead was less than 10 minutes away. read more

The staff were really nice and the locations was great, but at $300 night after taxes and fees... it just wasn't worth the hefty price tag. Their website says that the price includes WiFi. There is no WiFi. Upon checkin, we were told that it never works and that statement proved true. How can they advertise wifi and know that it doesn't ever work? We got to our cabin and it faced overflowing dumpsters. The other sides of the cabin had a gas station and highway. I guess we were expecting trees since the website says the "cozy cabins are nestled in a wooded setting." The dishes in the cabin were dirty and filmy and we had to re-wash everything. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans, but no coffee filters, salt and pepper, cooking spray, etc. There is a convenience store that stocks these times, but most rentals include basic items. The bed was so uncomfortable. We could feel every spring, and they squeaked when we moved. I can only equate the mattress to sleeping on soup cans full of mice. There was no floor space for our luggage and hiking gear. Pretty tight space with a hideaway bed, old recliner, full size fridge and large dining table. We didn't want to put our luggage on the white bed, so it was tough to maneuver in the space. On our last evening, there was a loud group of campers right outside our cabin. Between the uncomfortable bed and partying teenagers, we didn't get much sleep... and then I was awoken by giant trucks zooming down the road. This place did not deliver on their promise of enjoying the "peaceful serenity of a wilderness experience." I will say the food at the burger joint was good, but that and the convenient location was about the only good part of staying here. read more

I just loved this place! We are definitely twilight fans, so we enjoyed the signage, and themed food offerings. We stayed at the rialto, loved that not only are they pet friendly, but you get a doggy bag when you checkin! Such a thoughtful touch. Our first tiny house adventure was so fun! I really, really wanted to share a higher rating for this spot in La Push/ Forks. It's fairly close to lots of great spots, and is remote enough from the downtown of Forks to feel 'out of town.' The management staff also run their office out of the storefront, and are incredibly kind. Our stay was in the Pacific Cabin, and the photos of the cabin were beautiful and representative of the space. The amenities were surprising lacking for a rental cabin: no kitchen scissors, and we needed to get a sink sponge from the front office. The dishwasher pods were stuck behind the trash can (didn't realize until we left) and upon asking the staff, no one indicated that this was where they were normally kept, and instead gave us laundry detergent ‍ We ended up purchasing our own dishwasher pods as well as a bottle of olive oil (no oils for cooking were stocked). When communicating with the housekeeping staff about the above, there were language barrier issues that could not be overcome. A corner of the cabin was missing power, and it took testing multiple devices and coffee makers before we figured out the issue on our own. The bed was incredibly creaky, and the slats underneath had a tendency to move (and make noise) with restless sleeping. This area of the Peninsula is drop-dead gorgeous, and the local smoked salmon sold out of the storefront is awesome. I expect better of a rental cabin grounds at the price point for which they've marketed themselves, even in the late summertime. read more

This review is for one of their tiny houses, The Forest. I've spent time in a few different tiny houses with similar set ups (bed lofted above the kitchen), and The Forest isn't much different. The kitchen is equipped with a hot plate, microwave/oven, toaster, coffee pot, and full sized fridge - for us this got the job done and we were able to prepare a full spaghetti dinner and breakfast in the morning (the restaurant was closed for the season). The bathroom is a full bathroom, although of course tight on space, and the shower water pressure felt uh-mazing after a full day of hiking in the Hoh rain forest. Be aware that they have a small hot water tank and allow for time between showers/dishes for the water to heat back up. Overall this was a good one night stay for us as we headed down the coast into Portland. I'd recommend again. read more

We have been coming to this Resort for years and it pains me to leave a negative review. However, the Resort has new owners and we will not be returning. We booked a RV spot for 5 days in May and were told there would be a $5 dollar fee, per dog, per day. Quick Math: 3x $5= $15x5 days =$75 Honestly, we were surprised the new owners were still charging a per pet fee. I kindly asked the lady taking our reservation if we could negotiate lowing the pet fee and let her know we stayed over a week in the same spot back in November and they did help us out by reducing the pet fee to $5 dollars a day for our cute cavaliers. She said her hands were tied but she would ask the owner. A few hours later I receive a call from the owner. She called to inform me (in a not so kind manner) she would not be reducing the pet fee this time nor ever again. Ok...when I asked her why she was charging a per pet fee for camping in my own RV since I have never in all my years paid such a fee to camp....She got even more upset and stated it was because they had to clean up after the dogs. I interjected and ask what she would have to clean up? All responsible pet owner stick to the leash and bag the poo as we have always done. Her response: "I THINK YOU SHOULD CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION"!!!! Whoa!!!! How did this get so far out of hand over a pet fee? At that point I turned the phone over to my husband. She suggested the same to him---Cancel your reservation. He did. To the new owners: I wish you luck with your serious lack of business sense! You're already off to a great start running a Resort! Your recommendation lost you more than $350+ revenue, loyal guests, and a negative review. read more

Tent camped here. Nice tent space. Definitely big enough for multiple tents or an RV. Spot was clean and shady under tall cedars. Lovely spot. Road noise was awful. Logging trucks going by all night long. The bathrooms (just one stall for women) weren't cleaned very often. Three dumpsters for garage were over flowing with trash bags all around. Showers are pay only (quarters) and so is the laundry. The staff in the store was great. Didn't try the restaurant. read more

It's actually not a resort that you imagine it to be, but it's more like a lot for you to park your RV's and there're cabins there. We (5 ppl) stayed at the cabin and it's really spacious. There's a living room, bathroom, and 2 bedrooms. There are also washer/dryer to use in the cabin. There were 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, and 2 twins. Price: 5 star We paid $124 (tax included) for a night for 5, not bad at all. Location: 5 star It's very close to the beach, where we had a lot of fun. The sunset was amazing! Also, the tides were too high, so we cannot really swim there. It would be nice to count stars there as well, I imagine. Amenity: 2 star There's no shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom, but two small soap bars. There are towels there, but not enough for 5 ppl. Overall I think it's pretty good if you bring your shampoo/conditioner from home while traveling like I do. read more

This is the second time we stayed in the campground, via travel trailer..spot 11 is ideal, just about the middle of the park. Both times we stayed here were extremely quiet, even though it's right off of the main road you can't hear the cars at night. They have a store/gas station ($4 a gallon) and a restaurant.. now we haven't been to the restaurant or got gas but the store seems to have pretty much everything you would need for camping.. For all the campers, there are tent camping and rv camping..little tricky for large rvs (mine is 22') and it was $30 nightly for partial hookups (no sewer, also no dump station here either) So with that in mind they do however have a bathroom,coin operated showers,laundry spot and dish washing area..looks like they are putting in an area for fish cleaning as well. They also have little cabins and little houses for rent not sure of the amenities for those but they are cute.. we used this campground as a in between to Rialto Beach and hoh rain forest in forks.. read more

Three Rivers Resort is a good location to stay if you are interested in going to Olympic National Park, La Push, or any of the other coastal beaches in the area. We stayed in a two room cabin which was adequate. It's not luxury vacationing by any means but it's fine and it was comfortable. There was hot water, a couch, a full sized- fridge, and a kitchen with most of the dishes you could want to use during your stay. If you want to cook your own meals most of what you would need to do so is at the cabin. There was a flat screen TV with lots of channels which is always important when you're staying out in nature. Ha ha. The general store and cafe is right there with lots of options for food as far as a grill goes. I had the Quil Burger which is advertised as being World Famous. It tasted like a normal burger to me but it was good. There's Twilight paraphernalia all around for the Twi-hards. You can eat next to life-sized cut outs of Bella, Jacob, and Edward which is kind of fun. Prices for food are reasonable and they have plenty of burger and sandwich options. I was adventurous and tried one of their lattes and it was actually pretty good! They have soy milk which was a nice surprise. I was able to pick up Shock Top beer at the store so that added to my enjoyment of the trip. I'd recommend Three Rivers for staying in the cabins. I'm not sure how the camping is but there were plenty of RVs. Three Rivers is a good place to stay if you're over in the Olympic National Park area fishing and sightseeing. Oh and there's free wi-fi if you don't want to interact with nature even more! read more

What a NIGHTMARE. We booked the Rialto with the private hot tub for two nights. The first night was great but the second night was horrible; We came back to our place to cook dinner only to find no power, no staff on site, no note on our door. We tried to locate staff to no avail. There was no internet and thus no cell service to call the emergency number listed in the room. We ate chips for dinner in the freezing cold and dark. The hot tub was lukewarm/unusable and there was no hot water to take a shower. Our food in the fridge did not stay cold. There was no internet, no cell phone reception, and we had no idea what was going on until we tracked down another family there who told us the power was out in the region. We went over 6 hours without power and without a word from anyone at the resort. Upon emailing management to inquire why there had been no communication and request a refund/discount, we received a reply from Edward saying that he didn't contact us because he didn't have anything to say, in fact WE should have called him (without cell service) if we had an issue and we should have driven 2 hours to get a different hotel and then would he have refunded us. Not even a penny discount and no apology for the inconvenience. I'd give this place zero stars if I could for its HORRIBLE customer service. read more

We stayed in a single room cabin, but also available are two room cabins and campsites. Our cabin was small, but large enough for what we needed. Came with a dorm fridge, microwave, coffee maker and pop-up toaster. Bathroom was cramped but adequate. Not sure where they get off calling this a "resort", unless the communal showers constitute a spa, and the basketball goal in the parking lot is the exercise center... That being said, we really didn't come here to soak in the ambiance of the campground, rather we stayed here b/c the prices were very reasonable, and it's a 10 minute drive to Forks where we could get a cup of coffee and a meal, and it's a 10 minute drive to four beaches: First, Second, Third and Rialto. Next time we visit the area, we'll probably shell out another $40 and get a cabin on the beach in La Push. Was also very quiet at night, just a little road noise. I imagine it varies with the people camping, but we heard little noise from the campers. read more

Yeah, this place is no "resort" by any means but I'm not here to review that. I'm here to review their restaurant. It's standard order at the counter, get your food in a plastic basket type of place BUT...it's awesome. They know how to make a burger, and I cannot drive by this place and not stop by, especially since I only drive by once a year if I'm lucky. Once in a while, me and those who have experienced their burgers stop and say "mm...quil burgers...I'd kill for one right now!". I think that speaks for itself, don't you? read more

Stopped here while hiking back from the coast. Just incredibly nice people. I just grabbed some chips and then a tasty oatmilk latte from the restaurant while I waited for my bus to come. When one of the staff (owners?) found out I was trying to get back to Forks, she checked with her husband to see if he had left for town yet or not to give me a ride. That didn't work out for various reasons, but obviously an incredibly generous offer. The folks in the general store were also very nice and when I asked if there was a restroom I could use, they gave me no problem at all and pointed me in the right direction. I didn't realize they had tent sites until this visit, so given how friendly folks are here, this is definitely a candidate for a place to stay next time I head out to backpack the coast via public transit. read more

We got takeout from the restaurant and bought a bottle of wine from the store. The sandwiches were big and filling and the fries and onion rings were gone before we got back to where we were staying. A very decent option among not a lot of options in the area. I like how they leaned into the Twilight theme. No run ins with vampires or werewolves while we were in the area, though! read more

My Boyfriend and I spent the last couple of days at their resort while checking out the beaches and the rainforest and it was amazing. We stayed in the Tiny House Rialto which also had a hot tub, which was amazing after a day of hiking and walking on the beaches. Everyone was very friendly and the place was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed their burgers and fries at night and loved being able to make fresh eggs and coffee in the morning to eat on the fire top table on the lovely deck. We will be most definatly be going back whenever we get another chance to enjoy this lovely place and the people. read more

Worst case scenario with this business: they cancelled our reservation when we were on our way there! Last Tuesday, we had called and made reservations for Saturday night. On Saturday, while we were driving on the coast towards this campsite, I called to inquire about the firewood situation. I spoke with a woman named Hope, who had told me she was really busy and didn't have time for the call. After she told us we were set to be at Site #21, I wound up losing the call due to bad reception. This was at 6:05 p.m. At 7:25 p.m. we wound up getting reception again, and my boyfriend received a call from Hope stating that she wanted to know if we still wanted our reservation. Her voicemail was from 6:12 p.m. (shortly after she and I had gotten disconnected). We arrived at their campground on Saturday night at 7:35 p.m. and drove to our site. There was a couple in the site who looked VERY situated (tent out, food out, fire started, etc.). We went to the front desk to inquire with Hope what had happened. She told us that she had tried to run the credit card, twice, but it didn't work. We asked her what the number was that she had used, and she had ERASED OUR RESERVATION FROM THE BOOK. Hope had decided that we didn't want our reservation then immediately gave it away! We also suspect that she had lied to us about trying to run our credit card... why else would she not state in her voicemail that there was an issue with the card and erase the credit card number before we could clarify? It was Saturday night in August, we wound up sleeping in a recently regrazed cow pasture because she had given away our campsite. Three Rivers deserves ZERO STARS. read more

***This review is for the restaurant only*** Very good burgers, curly fries, and onion rings! I was pleasantly surprised by my bacon cheese quill burger. Thick and juicy and LOADED with toppings and sauce. Onion rings and curly fries were crispy and delicious. The girls behind the counter were friendly enough that we came back the next day for breakfast. We each had a sausage, egg and cheese muffin. This restaurant was a great stop on our Forks/La Push tour. They play it up for the Twilight crowd (this is the Treaty Line sign place) with things like a Vampire Threat Level sign and an entire back section made into a little Twilight-land. They even have a Twilight menu! Saying all that, I would come back here any day for the food. We had the BEST halibut and salmon burgers of our trip. The clam strips were great, too. Fun place!! REVIEW OF THE CABIN - Fantastic! We had three nights here and it was great! The gas heater does a great job of keeping us cozy at night. They make good use of the space. We did not feel crowded enough though my husband and I shared the space with two dogs, a baby and a pack n play. We would stay here again and highly recommend the cabins! Also, they are dog friendly. Liked this campground and RV park nestled deep in the woods. The daylight through the trees as it transitioned throughout the day created 'awesome' visuals in the lush green forest. Internet access however was a bust despite the host telling me people rave about our WiFi. I'm apparently lost because it barely allowed email. Better Internet and more RV spots with full hookups would make this park much better. Now, about the bathrooms. SMALL would be an understatement. The shower felt like you were in a tomb with no area to change or keep items dry and the super close space made it really uncomfortable, if you are claustrophobic it will not work for you at all. We happened to be there during an event celebrating Stephanie Meyer of Twilight fame. A big signboard and a guest photo opp with Bobo from the Twilight movie (sorry no photos) was underway drawing a huge crowd for literally being miles and miles from any population base. Would like to return in the future but the above amenities need addressing if we can expect to stay longer. Also make note of other reviewer that mentions their experience in RV spot #1. My husband made a last minute decision to switch our camping plans from Bogachiel State Park to Three Rivers- boy, am I ever glad that he did! We stayed in a half hook-up site from 7/17- 7/22/12. All of the RV sites were easy access, either pull through or, in our case, on the bend of the little road running through our area. The campground is absolutely beautiful, with woodsy sites featuring picnic tables and firepits. We felt like we were camping further out in the woods even though we were only about 100 or so yards away from LaPush Rd. We had easy access to the Quileute village in LaPush (6 mi) and its beaches, Rialto Beach (2 mi), Forks (7 mi), and other sights in the area (Klaloch Beach, Hoh Rain Forest, Sol Duc Falls & Hot Springs). The atmosphere at Three Rivers is very friendly. The two sisters who own it, Ruby & Donna, are total sweethearts, as are their husbands. They keep the campground & facilities very clean. Ruby even went out of her way to look up an old WSU dorm friend of mine who lives in Forks. We met a nice couple who are long-time Three Rivers campers and spend the whole summer there; they couldn't say enough nice things about Three Rivers. My husband would like to go back next year and try a guided fishing trip with our son. We really enjoyed the Three Rivers restaurant which we ate at most days. The restaurant was pretty reasonably priced and the burgers were good. My mouth waters thinking about the Werewolf burger- YUM! We tried the new Bigfoot pizza and were pleased. Our son loved the shakes. The young women who work in the restaurant were all friendly and very customer service oriented. My favorite was sweet, shy Gloria, who gave me some great tips for enjoying Quileute Days (her mom runs an Indian tacos stand during the yearly celebration- be sure to try them if you get the chance!). The restaurant boasts a rustic, outdoorsy theme in the main section, with a Twilight theme in the back room. I enjoyed having my photo taken with a lifesize Jacob Black cutout. As for the connected store, it was well-stocked with small incidentals that you might find you need at the last minute. I was particularly grateful for the decent DVD rental section. The only reason I couldn't give Three Rivers Resort five stars is because the bathroom situation was sometimes aggravating. Though I can appreciate being able to do your business in private, with only one toilet/sink per gender you are often left standing outside the bathroom for quite a long time while you wait for someone else to finish up (especially when it's a woman in there doing her hair & makeup). Generally we don't use the toilet in our trailer but I was forced to on many occasions during our stay at Three Rivers. There's only one shower per gender, which are kept very clean. I didn't have as much trouble getting into the shower as I did getting into the bathroom. I did have an issue with the coin operated shower not giving me as much time as I'd paid for, which forced me to make a wet & sudsy trek across the parking lot to the store. Donna apologized and very graciously provided me with more than enough coins to finish my shower- THAT is customer service! If the owners would expand the bathroom & shower facilities to accommodate more people I would gladly give Three Rivers a five star rating. Overall, our stay was a very good experience. We planned a night in the family suite, the largest cabin available. We were surprised to find that it was attached to the restaurant and store. It was an ok accommodation for the money, but we found no where good to eat. Everything in the area was just simple pub food. It was a short night sleep with all the banging in the restaurant area. I am really just reviewing the restaurant since I didn't actually stay here. Once you get out of the Seattle area coffee choices start to seem more and more like you are in the Midwest. This place is the total exception. I had an excellent vanilla latte in their restaurant. Milk was steamed perfectly, shots were extracted just right and the flavoring was perfect without being overpowering. The Twilight cut outs were a nice cheezy bonus. PROS: Low price for RV rate. Gas and food available at high tourist prices. Fast wifi. Nice owners apologized for noisey compressor. Pricey but great milk shake. My wife said she had a good mushroom chedar burger. CONS: Extremely noisey and cramped at site #1. Our RV site is 8 feet from a loud refrigeration compressor. Our canopy would hit the neighbor's slide-out if fully deployed. No room for fire ring or picnic table. Not in Forks per the address, but rather 8 miles west. Pay shower. Don't stay in site #1 and you'll be much happier because the sites are bigger and quiet. Seafood dinner was frozen and fried. read more

This is just a review of their restaurant. Went for lunch, just a quick pit stop while touring the Olympic Peninsula. The food is just average....burgers, pizza, fish and chips, etc. However the reason I am giving it 4 stars is for the Milkshakes! Yes the Milkshakes, who would have thought! They are amazing, so many choices it is hard to decided. If I am passing through Forks/LaPush again someday I will stop for a milkshake, or 2 or 3..... have to try the oreo cookie one! read more

I went to this eatery based on reviews on this site. Unfortunately this was not my experience. I ordered the halibut dinner and my wife ordered fried chicken sandwich with a side of onion rings. My halibut was just fish sticks and her chicken was a frozen piece as well. Onion rings were really not eatable This place does not serve 4 star food and that's why I gave it one star. Beautiful setting, beautiful cabins, large tent sites!! The cafe had pretty good coffee and the cabins were spotlessly clean. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin and took a tent site nearby. After a remodel this past year the bathrooms are a little larger and the cabins in general are comfortable. Really, it's more like a hotel suite than a cabin. We didn't get the chance to eat in the cafe but we did have some of the fresh smoked salmon- it was pretty good. The beds were hard and creaky- kids didn't mind, but not great for dad's neck. And they charge .50 for every credit or debit transaction. Small things in an otherwise great vacation. All in all-Three Rivers Resort hit the mark with attractive and comfortable cabins, and large tent sites, this side of the treaty line is a good value. read more

Stayed 7 nights over 4th of July. Great little campground. Not huge but clean, safe and a friendly staff. Most surrounding campgrounds are barren like a Walmart parking lot but 3 rivers is set in a beautiful stand of trees. Gorgeous! I had no trouble getting my 24' travel trailer into a spot and I saw bigger rigs. Met several families that come back every year. That tells you something. A solid do-over for us. read more
