Crew, American Eagle, Hollister and Abercrombie each tagged at around $8.99 (minus 50%!). I paid $20 for 3 hats (Rainiers and Mariners), jeans and a skirt for my daughter plus, the best deal, Paige jeans which came out to be $4! Pros: Clothing was organized into type and color which makes it easy to sort through. Cons: Location is kind of sketch. Items sold as is so it isn't always clean. Thrift City like many stores of this sort... at least for me it's a matter of timing to see if there is anything that is going to catch my eye to purchase. I did get a button down shirt here of a tropical design that I have taken a serious hankering to. I wear it once a week. But usually my timing and my pickiness usually are the dominating factors in the situation and I don't usually wind up purchasing anything at all. So definitely check back frequently is my guess if you are this type of shopper like me to eventually get the timing right at some point. Steve on the other hand isn't picky and he often makes purchases here. So I guess it depends what you are looking for. Other shoppers often make a real haul here when it comes to check out time and the prices aren't bad at all. There is a decent sized clothing section for men and women as well as books, DVD's and more. If my libraries weren't so vast at home I'm sure I'd pick up a few from time to time. But again. I was excited to scope out the selection of items since the store is huge. There is a wide variety of items ranging from the usual kitchenware, cookware, books, media, art, clothes, shoes, furniture. The staff is friendly and welcomes you as you enter which is nice. The prices are steep for my thrift liking. $30 for a pot with a lid, $20 for a pair of sandals, $25 for a blouse. Cut the prices in half and we'll talk. Prices for furniture and electronics makes sense, but for the used wearable items should be thrift store prices. I put down the few items I wanted to purchase because it was too costly for thrifting. I'll come back to check the selection again another time. read more

My 11-year-old daughter wanted to go thrifting and this store was recommended to me. It was a decent drive. About 30 minutes. Although when we arrived, we were quite skeptical given the run down outward appearance, but were happy to give it a chance. It's pretty big, but I didn't feel like the items were quality at all. In addition, the prices weren't good. It was 30% off everything today and it still wasn't worth it. I saw several t-shirts priced at 8 or $9, which is pretty crazy and something I could easily buy new for that price. We ended up grabbing a wallet and heading out after wandering up and down the aisles. There was one cashier who was pleasant enough, but very slow. All in all, I would not return. read more

Was excited to stop here after I saw a girl on TikTok post about it. It is over an hour and half drive from me and I won't be back. Parking: plentiful. There is an old beaten up school bus in the lot claiming to be selling Mexican food but also looks like the person lives in the bus... does not look safe to eat. Was excited by the name of it alone, and the outside looks massive. Inside it is poorly lit. Prices were pretty high for items and selections for housewares and books were small. This store is mostly clothes and everything is color coordinated. They aren't sorted by size or have different color tags on the hangers showing what size so you literally spend most of your time looking at clothes one by one, which is a huge waste of time and super disappointing. They don't take card for anything under $5 I bought something under 5 and got a receipt with the stamp on it to come back the next day for 50% off... however there wasn't much that I even wanted. Disappointed in the store, it's not near me so I won't go out of my way again to visit. read more

The reason we go to thrift stores is so we won't have to pay an arm and a leg for jeans! F@ck this place. This business does not care & is stealing everyone's money. Everything about the store is great! Unfortunately the staff here is not. They seem very bitter & unappreciative of your business! I paid for my items with $100 & the clerk got all huffy-puffy with me! She should be appreciative I was spending MY hard earned income with them! In fact there's never any level of customer service there, The customers seem more like a chore than a valued guest in their store! I heard a clerk get into a full-on argument with another customer & her sister as well, right before permanently banning the poor lady indefinitely. This is my favorite thrift store. They have a large variety of stuff: furniture such as dressers, desks, couches, table and chairs, t.v.'s, baby items, shoes & clothing for men, women, Kid's, babies, toys, art work, mirrors, handbags (designer brands too!), jewelry, books, collectibles, etc, etc), their prices are much more reasonable then (let's say) The Goodwill and to top it off, EVERYTHING is 1/2 OFF every Monday!! I definitely recommend shopping at Thrift City if you're looking for a larger selection and a better bang for your buck. read more

I decided to drive quite a ways to this thrift store because it got good reviews - although they were all several years old. People said it had great prices, so I figured I would check it out. It is very dark and dank inside. Feels gross and dirty. What was most shocking, though, was the prices. They were literally ridiculous. There was a used pair of old Nike Airs in trashed condition (and NOT a pair that is worth much, even in great shape) that were $109.99. Like, are you kidding?! Another pair of Nikes was $49.95. A non-collectible Shaggy doll/toy in bad shape was $29.95. A woman next to me in the shoes was trying on some boots and said, "They're out of their minds if they think I'm gonna pay this much for these boots... This price can't be right." I couldn't agree more. Just stupid expensive pricing on used junk. Prices at the Goodwill are 1/2 as much (and still more than they should be half the time!). Even on "Half price Monday", you are going to get completely ripped off here. Save your time. Shop elsewhere! read more

I like this thrift store. I always find little things I need for my garden. I also find all the nifty materials I need for my arts&crafts. I think they have a sale every day, but I'm not so sure since I only come here when I need something. The prices are alright. Some are really cheap, some may be a bit pricey for consigned items. This thrift store is always kind of a mess. As the prices can be a tad high, it is advisable to shop on sale days to get a good value. Some of the merchandise is very dirty and not in good shape. The employees working within the store have always been nice and helpful. The guy working the donation area has the customer service skills of a brick. The best time to shop here is right when they open as the area is a bit sketchy and seems to get worse as the day goes on. read more
