The customer was polite and respectful, yet the manager spoke to them harshly, and singled them out. It was uncomfortable and upsetting to watch. No one should be treated that way, especially in a place that's supposed to serve the community. The other customers noticed it too -- the atmosphere in the store changed immediately. If this store wants to maintain any integrity, they need to address this behavior immediately and make sure their staff are properly trained on how to treat all customers with respect and equality. Until then, I won't be supporting this location.

I chose a skirt to try on *hoping* it would fit, but sadly it didn't. The owner said there was a skirt that would probably work for me and I somehow missed it, it was actually even cuter than the one I had chosen. And they were right! It fit like a glove. THAT was impressive and goes to show you they selected these pieces with care. To know your available inventory that well does not happen by mistake. My fiancé picked up another addition to his turquoise collection as well. Pricing was fair for the quality and selection.

The people running the place couldn't be nicer or more helpful when I asked them to help me find a gift for my girlfriend AND SHE LOVED IT! On my recent trip to Joshua Tree, I stopped by a long list of Vintage shops and this one was the most reasonably priced place with the best selection. I for sure will come back and I am excited to bring my girlfriend to see it for herself. Definitely recommend anyone stop in.

The owner Rachael is so sweet and her customer service is top notch. She's got style and it shines loud and proud in her store. Black Luck has an incredible selection. The prices are great and reasonable. I also noticed it's very organized and well kept, I love to see someone take pride in their work. Music playing in the store is pleasant and fits the aesthetic. Rachael has amazing holiday decor for sale, especially vintage Halloween. Everywhere you look there's something unique to catch your eye, whether it's for sale or a permanent fixture in the store. These kinds of stores are my weakness and I'd have to say Black Luck is at the top of my list of vintage stores in the Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree (29 Palms Highway) area.
