I thought that prices were high on most of the things that I looked at. Women's clothes size large were very outdated. I did score a cool glass mixing bowl to provide water for my cats in for $2. I'm thinking that it's vintage. I also got a brown glass ramekin - great for melting butter in the microwave-for 25 cents. There was a set of beautiful wine glasses with hand painted Texas native plants on them for $2. each. I scored a set of 5 for $1.50 at Second Chance Thrift in LaGrange, so I did not get them. read more

Hidden treasure in Duncanville. Has most qualities of a good thrift store. I'm not giving five stars because they write the prices on the clothing labels with black sharpies. They also write the prices on the inside of handbags and this kind of ruins them. The store appears to be run by an all-volunteer staff so I'll excuse them for not greeting me or playing shopping rock. Most of the clothes are for less fashion-forward clientele. I found a few trendy items and they were quite a bargain. There were lots of glass tchotchkes for collectors. It's worth a drive out here and is located in a quaint part of town. This little hole-in-the-wall of a thrift shop was a great find! It's a small shop, but it if very well organized. In fact, it's probably the best organized thrift shop I've ever been too. We walked away with a handful of great books, and now look forward to stopping by and seeing what new product they carry. It is connected to Duncanville Outreach Ministries, so I believe the profits from the shop go towards helping families in need in Duncanville. At times they'll even carry diapers, office supplies, and a bunch of other things that we brand new for a discount. read more

Clean and organized pretty well... prices seem to be kind of on the high side for a thrift store. The place is small so the selection is more limited than I normally like to shop. I'll likely return to se did anything else turns up. I've been twice now and haven't found anything that was a good enough deal to get, but you never know what the next visit will provide. read more
