I genuinely couldn't be more thankful for Manhattan Prep, specifically for Noah Teitelbaum. Taking…read morethe online class with Noah as my tutor made 8 months of non-stop studying, countless "I cant's, because I have to study tomorrow," and more anxiety than I've ever had in my life, worth it. I came into Manhattan Prep after privately tutoring for 3 months and a 560 on my first real GMAT. Prior to the class, I knew quiet a bit of the fundamentals of the test. This lead me to being skeptical of how the class would help me, come day one of it. After the first class, Noah "virtually" pulled me aside and told me to be patient and that I would learn everything I needed to know to succeed on the test. Week after week I found myself absorbing more information and tricks of the trade than I ever could have imagined while I was tutoring privately (not a Manhattan Prep Tutor). The class breaks down the GMAT into its finest details and gives students the proper tools to succeed on the exam. The Interact Lessons, for me, were a saving grace. Anytime I wanted to review a specific section without waiting until the next class, I would go through each interact lesson feeling like I was in a one on one session with a Manhattan Prep tutor. Everything became very clear and concise. Unfortunately for me, as much as I was absorbing, I was stressing myself out more than ever. I would do small problem sets, getting questions right, but when it came down to taking a full CAT my scores were not improving - they were actually getting worse. At this point, I was studying 6 hours everyday, taking a CAT every week, and going absolutely insane. The GMAT itself produced an anxiety in me that I had never experienced before. Not only did Noah help me with learning and understanding the exam, but also he helped me manage my stress and gave me plenty of outlets to help me cope with my anxieties. I told him after my second GMAT that I would try anything to help me succeed, and he gave me as many options as he possibly could think of. For some, the GMAT can be a walk in the park; for others, like me, the GMAT can be one of the worst experiences that can stand in the way of you and your dream of attending business school. Noah, along with Manhattan Prep, never gave up on me. Four GMATS later I walk away with a 660 total score: 100 points increase!

Both of our kids were tutored by different instructors at Moser and both had a GREAT experience. Scott asked a lot of questions about each student to understand their disposition, the way they learn, how much pushing they needed to study, etc. They were matched with very different instructors and both were patient, respectful, and clear in their teaching. Going into the college prep season with our older student, we were all a bunch of nerves. However, during the tutoring process, we collectively relaxed because our son became confident in his abilities to take the tests effectively. Both of our kids' scores were impressive, much higher than before the tutoring. As it turned out, they both did receive merit scholarships at their desired universities. Even if they had not, I think the confidence it gave each of them was well worth the price.

It also enabled him to set up a high school game plan on the jobs he took in high school, along with classes and other activities. The summer between junior and senior year, he worked on his personal statement essay along with the individual essays for the colleges in which he will apply. He had a great head start on these before his senior year classes began. What I love about having Piotr, Jack and the team at Delehey College Consulting behind us, is that they helped preserve the relationship we have with our son. They were there to ask questions and bounce ideas off of. They gave him great feedback on the essays he wrote and even though our son gave them to us to read, the feedback that Piotr provided even though it was similar to our feedback and thoughts, carried more weight as he was the expert in my son's eyes. I don't yet know the outcome of my son's college applications, but I do know that without Delehey College Consulting and Piotr's advice and guidance my son's application would not be as strong as it is and he wouldn't be as prepared as he was at the start of his school year which alleviated a great deal of stress and even got us a thank you for the push to get the essays mostly completed before the school year began. We interviewed several College Consultants and went with the consultant that my son felt most comfortable with and that he could work with the best. Delehey College Consulting wasn't the cheapest option, but in our eyes it was the best option and provided us the best bang for the buck. My son and I have known that we could ask any question and it would be answered in a short amount of time. We know that they will be there for us until my son determines which school he will attend next school year. I honestly can't say I've been disappointed even slightly throughout the contact we've had over the last 2 years and into this school year. If I had another child, we would use Delehey College Consulting for him/her as well. We believe that much in the service and guidance we have received.

Jack was extremely thorough and helped my son get accepted to his first choice within 3 weeks, in the first batch of waitlist applicants! What really differentiates Jack is his ability to motivate! I felt my son really put in the extra effort and responded to Jack's direction. So often this is the tiny difference between acceptance and just another application. I would highly recommend Jack to anyone.
