Shell organization. Zero accountability for their therapists' behavior. Refused to review actual session recordings.

Thriveworks is legitimately a scam. They want you to see 2 different therapist at different times throughout the week so they can charge you and the insurance more. The reason for me even using this services was a psych evaluation. Something they do not even offer, but still asked me to take 2 sessions before telling me that. The second therapist had a grin most of the time as if my personal problems were funny to her. To top that, I was charged $135 on two separate ocassions for a service I did not use. They told me I had to wait 60 days for a refund. I waited the 60 days, now I'm being told I need to wait an additional 30 to 60 days to get my money back. I literally spent 1hr and 30 minutes attempting to get a straight answer and what do they do? They pass responsibility from department to department saying that the person that can help is in a meeting . I'm attaching a screen shot of the amount of time these scammers are keeping me on the phone. Care quality sucks. read more

If I can give 0 stars I would. How can u charge people $40.00 for amenities that they do not have? coffee and snacks in office when i only had telehealth appointments. I cancel my subscription on feb 10th and you charge me feb 16 th 100.00 for a no show appointment when I clearly canceled! This is a scam therapy subscription. Thriveworks is the best organization I've ever worked for! I am a Clinical Social Worker and my job at this company is to be a mental health therapist. My experience as an employee has been fantastic because of the attentive administrative staff. Their pay per hour is good too. I strongly recommend Thriveworks for clinical therapists. read more

literally would give negative 100 stars. first therapist my husband and I were scheduled with informed us after the hour long intake session that he had no availability going forward, and would have to match us with another therapist. he told us that he took very detailed notes and that the next therapist could just pick up where he left off. in addition, he was incredibly negative and accusatory towards my husband and made him feel like a terrible person, not the safe space therapy should be. then, I called to make another appointment and the agent I spoke with assured me that the next appointment would NOT be another intake appointmen. lo and behold we start the next appointment and the therapist (who was holding an infant and was very distracted) told us that this would be an intake and asked us if we wanted to continue to which we said no because that was not what we were told. She never informed us we would be charged for the session. I then got a $135 charge for a late cancellation fee and thriveworks will not budge even though they lied to me. what a travesty of a company that proclaims to be a mental health advocate but meanwhile just doeant give a crap. read more
