She answered all of my questions without being condescending like other places can be, and treated me with respect, which is something I commonly don't receive right away at other establishments (age, appearance, piercings, etc.). They had a fantastic supply of herbs, crystals, incense, talismans, oils, and even clothes, tarot decks, jewelry, etc. The herbs in particular were of an impressive variety compared to other stores around town, are sold are in multiple sizes to suit however much you may need. I was accidentally charged twice for an obsidian bracelet and rang the store back to figure out a refund, and Lovely Linda immediately met my needs over the phone so that I didn't have to go back in. She was very patient and understanding throughout the short process. The crystals specifically tend to run a little expensive, but I think that it's more than worth the price to keep this business going so that other people may find what they are looking for as well. I will be a very frequent customer from now on! (And for those interested, the store also has a Tarot reader on hand-- I think-- every day, if not, very often.)

When I entered I was overcome by a horribly strong odor of what seems to be a combination of bad incense & herb burning for many years. The store suffered from the 4Ds.....dark, dingy, dusty & dirty. In fact any merchandise that isn't sealed should be considered used as it is all tainted with a layer of residue from the burning of items. In so far as pressured sales, yes they do suffer from that also even to the extent of as you're heading toward the door. The couple of items I had a somewhat interest in the shopkeeper could not demonstrate or explain them correctly. Personally I couldn't get out of there quick enough to get fresh air in my body. To add to the dismal experience I had to maneuver myself around beer cans in the parking lot.

I was left to think, "surely he doesn't think I'm going to run out the store with a garment"??? I just stopped admiring the garments and purchased a fragrance and went along my way. (Of course, it may have not been anything personal towards me, perhaps there have been experiences where they've been impacted by theft and there's nothing wrong with keeping watch over what u work hard for in building your wealth. We had stopped around the corner for a brewery and I saw all the shops of Redfern Village and decided to turn in and I cannot resist a Crystal store! I saw the name and ohh-ahh'd and pulled into a parking spot. It was raining, so we hustled out of the car and then had to run back for required masks. I lapped the store twice picking up various crystals and had to restrain myself greatly! Prices were excellent and I loved the huge selection! It's a small store and surprisingly busy even with the rain- but as often as customers were walking in- some were exiting with their new purchases. I bought a gorgeous piece of malachite- polished on one side and raw stone on the other. I also found a point of ruby zoisite that I couldn't resist- they had several amazing pieces of this stone that I wanted to scoop up! I think I also grabbed some Santo Palo for the house & a couple of candles. They have an extensive selection of semi-precious stones, polished and raw, candles, tarot cards, jewelry, smudging tools and more!
