Service is usually pretty quick and always friendly, but if you are looking to come here be careful of the hours. They are not open Monday or Tuesday, and on the days they are open it is only from 11am to 5pm (shortened from the previous hours of 11-7).

The noodles had a good texture but weren't as firm and chewy as fresh ramen should be. The toppings--tender pork, green onions, and an egg--were satisfying. I wish the pork was as melt-in-your-mouth as proper chashu. It's a convenient option if you're already there, but for a truly rich tonkotsu experience, I'd go elsewhere. The Crab Rangoons were crispy and had a nice balance of creamy and savory filling. Overall, Kung Fu Tea is still my favorite spot for boba, and I'm excited to come back to see if the consistency has improved!

We also tried 2 mochi. The mochi had a great flavor but the texture was too hard for me. We had the strawberry and coconut mochi but they had other amazing flavors like habanero coffee, expresó , lychee , passion fruit etc. I appreciate that they had so many unique flavors you don't see often. Before I say yes to boba tea, though, I ask the waitress for their dessert menu and they sent me to BC Boba Tea & Ice Cream. Apparently Swamp Boil doesn't serve dessert. Anyway, this cute little tea shop also sells some snacks and ice cream. Given my friend wanting some boba tea, the desire was contagious and I wanted one, too. I also figured it made more sense for the road as I had many hours until I would reach South Florida. He ordered an oolong milk tea with boba while I ordered a strawberry green tea with boba. Both were refreshing, but I think I'm happy I stuck with the strawberry green tea. Milk and long car rides aren't good companions and that's with me not being lactose intolerant. Anyhow, the service was fine, a bit cold perhaps, but it is what it is. They have a lovely mural on site and I'm generally curious if this and Swamp Boil are owned by the same person. There's a dark sauce they put on the sandwich too which is really good. There's are freshly sliced jalapeños so take note if you don't like spicy. They are very thinly sliced so it's not overwhelming but there's a little kick. My wife got a sandwich but also tried one of the Korean sticks. She got the stick without a hotdog. It was basically a block of cheese coated in diced potatoes, kind of like frozen breakfast potatoes you can get at the grocery store. They deep fry it so the cheese is completely melted. I think she's glad she tried it, but I don't think she was impressed. We'll just stick to Banh Mi next time.

The prices are pretty reasonable and he informed his favorite boba was a seasonal one, the hami melon boba tea which sounded good and will try soon! This boba tea was surprisingly not super sweet at all. It was very creamy and delicious. It had a subtle hint of brown sugar and the boba tasted like it soaked up the brown sugar flavoring. I highly recommend this drink. However, be mindful of trying to get to this place if you're a local as it's that time of the year (aka football season). If you can find parking - definitely stop by Tan-Cha.

The tiramisu foam is so good, I've been craving Tan-Cha for the longest because of their tiramisu foam, light and simple. It complements the green tea very well. Their boba is soft and plump, and the entire drink blends so well together. The cafe was small with a modern, fresh look. Service was awesome, our barista/cashier was very kind and patient. To get to the cafe, you have to parallel park just an fyi. I'd go through the pain of parallel parking to get another drink here! Highly highly recommend!!!
