The teachers there are on the level of the great scientists and philosophers of the past. In Physics one will find a modern day Sir Isaac Newton, and in English, an Ernest Hemingway. The classy library contains tomes and scrolls which hold all knowledge, from lists of medicinal herbs, to books on the theories of pythagoras. There are so many books of all ages, that the vast library has never actually been explored in its entirety. Those who dare to brave its depths speak of books older than time, containing languages not seen in millions of years. All of these books, as one would imagine, are highly sought after by thieves and scoundrels. It may seem impossible to protect so many, but our school has employed the help of a powerful troll, who protects our grand library from all who would attempt to violate it. The school also has a gourmet cooking staff, who fill all of the students bellies with delicious morsels of the classiest of foods. The Cafeteria is full of gold plated plates and silverware, and the walls have diamonds embedded within them. The pleasant conversation of the intelligent students who eat within the room is always intriguing to listen to, as they talk about everything from politics to fine art. To date, I have only been one find one problem with the school. The clocks are about three minutes slow. One star.

We played Knockerball with about 12 people for a friends birthday on East River Park! The guys were…read morethere early blowing up all the balls and when we all arrived we were ready to play! They brought music and items for games and helped us to have a really great time! It is EXHAUSTING running around in those balls. I took away a star because the balls kept losing air and needed to be refilled after games. The guys said they get new balls annually, so some of them were showing age I guess. We had a really good time, and it was a fun and different activity! Definitely worthwhile checking out with these guys!

But, until it withers and dies off, places like Competitive Edge Tutoring are very helpful in getting through it.

We used Competitive Edge tutoring for both our daughters' ACTs and SAT 2s.  We had previously…read moreworked with a different agency but found their tutors abilities inconsistent.  With Competitive Edge, we found Alex was very responsive and supportive in all of our dealings and his tutors were consistently strong, had good materials to share, and always added value. The tutors sent us detailed summaries of the sessions, the areas needing work, and the next steps immediately after every session to help keep us in the loop. Megan helped my younger daughter for both the ACT and Spanish SAT 2 and we found her help invaluable.  We even recommended her to other family members. Her final ACT score was 35. My older daughter used Liz and Dimitri for the ACT and Willis for Spanish.
