The grand kids and parents tented while we "glamped" in our little trailer. It had running water, a stove and slept 3. The trailer was delivered and picked up from the camp site for a nominal fee at the agreed times. The cost was equivalent to renting a cheap motel room. Recommended!

We are the kind of campers that spend the majority of our time outdoors but appreciate a dry warm cozy place to sleep and store our clothes and this was exactly what we were able to do utilizing this rental. If your looking for a place to party this is NOT the place for you, quiet time is 10:00 pm and it is very quiet mostly all day and night. They are very strict on who comes or goes and all visitors must leave by 10:00. Overall good stay and reasonably priced.

We had a cabin booked for the following night, but car camped for one evening. When we arrived he gave me a little tour - the washrooms are very nice for campsite bathrooms, and there are even laundry machines, a book borrowing shelf, and indoor showers. The campsite is very well equipped! Quiet hours are at 10, which put a bit of a damper on things as this was a birthday celebration weekend. It was nice to have a firepit at each campsite, although the stream running through the campsite harboured swarms of mosquitoes which didn't encourage me to stay outside... The cabins were lovely. Ours had two separate wings with a shower room in between (not adjoining), a hot tub, and a barbecue. Our friends had the next cabin over, which I believe was just finishing being built, and they had a gorgeous fireplace with recliners in front of it, as well as an indoor and outdoor area to do dishes. The nicest part was that it was a 3 minute walk to 'town' so it was easy to pop over to the corner store and pick up some bits and pieces for dinner. The location alone would probably bring me back but the quiet hours etc. were a bit of a deterrent.

Had a new awning put on my trailer in 2021 that I bought…read morefrom them 8 years ago, they took the led lights off to put the new awning on and never put the led lights back on. We haven't had the trailer out since we had that done so we never noticed them missing. Now they say that the warranty is over so there is nothing they can do. To me there is no warranty time on stealing and taking something off of somebody else's property and not returning it, is stealing.

That being said, my recommendation would be to only look at CVRV to see what is out there and go somewhere else, even the mainland, to purchase. In my experience, once you purchase the RV, they hope to never see you again, unless you are paying to upgrade or fix something out of pocket. I had a Maxxair fan installed 6 months after I purchased my RV. This comes with a 2 year warranty--that is ONLY if you are in the area. If you are out on your travels and something happens, you are sh*t out of luck. One and a half years after the fan was installed, it broke. I wound up at CHEMO RV in 150 mile house and they replaced my fan. I now have a 2 year warranty with them, NO MATTER WHERE I AM. If I am on a road trip, they will pay for any fixes if need be--they stand by their product and their reputation!! They were shocked that CVRV policy is to only deal with the RV's locally and they do not have a working relationship with other dealers (the CHEMO RV manager even called CVRV because he assumed I had not explained myself well enough or had misheard the information from CVRV). Additionally, CHEMO RV found out that Comox Valley RV initially installed the fan incorrectly and it was just beginning to leak. I guess it was lucky that the fan broke to prevent a major leak in my Class B RV. Buyer beware--I recommend going elsewhere. Kathy

Bought a brand new camper here in July. Discovered in October that it leaks. Called the service…read moredepartment, booked an appointment, dropped off the camper. Talked with Danny the owner who explained why the leak occurred and how they would repair it. Left the camper with them for a week, while they made the repairs. All covered by warranty, no questions asked. Both Danny the owner, and Cole the Service manager were excellent throughout the process.
