They basically can't process anything until you have your prescription which is understood but you should be able to browse comfortably and ask questions if you want. The second time I went in, I was browsing before an appointment and it was like she was off put that I was browsing before my appointment next door. I didn't even feel comfortable browsing. after my appointment, I went back and chose the glasses that I had seen. At that point she helped me , but but she was not friendly at all. I don't know if she didn't like me in particular or if she just doesn't like the job. Either way I will not be back.

I would not have gone back if they had given me the correct prescription the first time. Horrible customer service from ladies in the front. There are some instances where supporting local businesses is not a smart idea, and this is one of them. Take your time and money somewhere else.

They refuse to give us a prescription for contact lenses even after we've paid and tried the trial. They keep insisting that we need to go back when doctor is in. They never have what we need and they keep saying that they have to order them a trial. When they order trial lenses they "only order one" really? How stupid is that? They are the worst eye care center ever. Do not waste your time and your money. The only reason we went there was Bcz our regular doctor doesn't have appointments till two months from now. Stick to Thurmond eye associates in McAllen or Weslaco or Harlingen. The worst!

I come to this clinic to see Dr. Mery, I've been a patient of hers for many years. She is amazing…read moreand always extremely helpful and caring, I highly recommend her as a physician. She knows exactly what my needs are and how to take care of them :) The reason I give the clinic overall three stars is because it is always PACKED. You literally have to call in AT LEAST A MONTH ahead for an appointment, so it's hard to get in if you get sick suddenly. They can write you in as a walk in, but be ready to spend 4+ hours waiting to be seen, even if you come in at 7:30 a.m. Despite the long wait and hassle, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful :) Not only the doctors, but the assistants too. They always find ways to help you if you can't afford medication or your doctors visit.
